The garden view room was a delight for our multiple night stay. The staff took care of all our needs. Any meal we had at the restaurant or bar was excellent.
Alverton hotel is a charming place with kind and welcoming staff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back — and I definitely will!
This is a beautiful, historic hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Great food! My only complaint was there are no in-room safes.
Incredible room, comfy, clean and so welcoming. I was late for check in and the concierge was so accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and great service. Would love to stay again.

This is gem of a hotel for those looking to stay in Truro. A 10min walk gets you into the town centre, but the hotel feels a world away surrounded by lush gardens. A beautiful historic building that’s been decorated to a high standard. Staff were helpful - and I’m not sure how I managed it, but we got an upgrade to the Bishop Suite - a jaw-dropping room and a bathroom with twin claw foot tubs. Breakfast was good and so were the cocktails.
Hotel room nice. Service in resturant for breakfast poor and food not that good quality.
On last day found a pair of knickers on back of chair for breakfast. No proper apology or offer to move tables.
