Beautiful property. Right on a fairly main road (so, easy to access restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) but quiet enough thst you didn't feel like you were right on the main road.
The hotel had several nice features including the swimming pool, fire pit (with supplies for s'mores) and a dining area for breakfast and dinner. Sitting outside at meals with a view in the distance of Tuscon was great. There were also several restaurants in walking distance.
This place was awesome. It is on a main street with lots of places that are convenient for vacation (dining, fuel, car wash, groceries)
It has that great Southwestern look and our first words were âwhoaâ and it stayed that nice.
The big lobby doors open automatically and it is very inviting. The check in kid was very friendly and efficient.
Our room was on the same level as the lobby and we had a private balcony that overlooked the swim are with tall trees swaying and mountain views.
The breakfast was fantastic and they offered unlimited mimosas.
It was clean and the bathroom sink was so unique I had to take a picture.
We said we would always stay there again if back in Tucson and highly recommend it.
The location was great, but for some reason no one ever came to clean the room or change the towels during our four-day stay, nor did anyone ask if we wanted them to. That was a little weird.
The front desk guy was very nice when I arrived after 2 am, but after that, no front desk person ever spoke to me or even acknowledged me as I walked by each day to use the breakfast buffet.
The buffet is pretty simple and never deviates: pancakes, eggs, sausage of some sort, pico de gallo and salsa, and some muffins and prepackaged danishes. It gets the job done but it's nothing to write home about.
The gym is really small but good enough if you just need to get some exercise in during your travels.
Give a 3 rating for early morning jackhammering in torn up grounds outside our bldg. It would've been professional to let their guests know. The booking clerk was excellent.
The hotel was very southwestern and comfortable. Loved the beds. We brought our dogs and it was a great dog-friendly location. The lawn and doggy bags were fantastic.
Property is showing some wear and tear, but we enjoyed the character and charm. We appreciated the onsite bar/restaurant, and the small extra touches like the cookies and smores kits.
La Posada is going downhill, poor quality, dirty, understaffed, kitchen is a joke & so is the restaurant. Before these owners, it was a class place & I loved it, but now it's changing into an "EXPENSIVE DUMP'! I will never stay there again!
Les points forts : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
We enjoyed the balcony and the view. Beds were comfortable but overall the rooms need updating (worn toilet seat, cracked tiles, chipping paint, etc). We were most disappointed that the pool heater was broken making the pool unusable.
It was a friends staycation for some R&R away from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quaint, some upgrading needed to be done like the sliding glass door on our balcony, the tv remote did not have a guide and was difficult to see what was on, the bathroom was tiny but the Mexican tile very pretty and my mattress swayed in the m8ddle and made load sounds when i turned over at night. The pool and jacuzzi outside were nice, the courtyard was pretty.
