This hotel should not be allowed to stay in business. The poor condition gives impression customer base is mostly drug addicts, drug dealers, and possibly prostitution.
I loved the Econo lodge! There was a nice sized mini fridge and a microwave; the beds were both queen sized and the air conditioner worked impeccably well! The carpet did not even stain your feet that badly and there wasnât even that many bugs! For the price this is a great place to stay with friendly folk
It was OK! We were able to get check in quick. The rooms were clean and what we expected for the cost. We were not looking for anything fancy as we just needed a place to sleep for the night as we traveled from FL to MI.
No lobby, no coffee. Although they were going through a storage room and I asked if they happened to have a coffee pot, the maintenance guy found me one.
Bed ok. Place pretty clean but in need of updating. You get what you pay for
Office area is locked and closed off for lounge and breakfast. The room had filthy walls, bathroom toilet was loose and rocked when in use, the beds have partial metals sticking out from the sides and very dangerous. The door has a huge gap in the bottom, beds had only one sheet and a light blanket no comforter.
The toilet was loose, not bolted to the floor. The power went out, the front desk didnât answer the phone. There was construction in the room above us, we heard drills and saws all night.
Check in by clerk behind glass in a relatively safe area off of the Interstate. Room clean and well furnished versus other Super 8's. Some tobacco odor, and I had requested a non smoking unit. Noise from walking on 2nd floor hallway above. I guess for what I paid it was okay.
This is not the typical "cheapy" motel. While not ultra-luxurious, everything about it was comfortable and pleasant. Great bed! Quiet, efficient heating/cooling. I will definitely be staying there again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, restful night at a reasonable price.
