The property was very charming, BUT, the common areas smelled very musty and stuffy, including our room which had no air circulation, no openable windows, no fan, no climate control. And for almost $300/night, I'd expect more than a muffin, banana, tiny box of raisins, and k-pod coffee with powdered creamer as the "continental breakfast". Very disappointing for the money.
Our host, Dr. Nathan, was in redibly friendly and hospitable, and his little girls stole the show! Beautiful and loving! The Carriage House was impeccable and we wish we could have stayed a week! I would give this 10 stars out of 5!!! Best ever!!!
The property was beautiful. The couple who owns the property and their family were very nice. Our room was great! Do not expect an actual bed and breakfast. When we checked in there was 2 cinnamon rolls from the local shop along with bananas and bottles of orange juice on the dresser. This is your breakfast for the next morning. The house was beautiful the breakfast was very disappointing.
Excellent place to stay while in town visiting the Jack Danielâs distillery. Comfortable, felt like home, well stocked and friendly people! Highly recommend! Will stay again!
Very comfortable bed, nice big windows which brought in a lot of light, internet was extremely spotty in the first floor bedroom which made it extremely difficult to continue to work as a self employed person, very quiet and peaceful location.
The Carriage House was tastefully appointed and comfortable, while the kitchen was very well-equipped. If you need to stay in Moore County, it's hard to imagine a better place than this historic home.
The Carriage House is a lovely facility. It has everything. The master bed was wonderful. The second bed is a pullout sofa. The manager provided a lot of food for breakfast and there is a full kitchen.
