As much as I have traveled, I have never experienced a worst check in experience and treatment from a property management communication. We got to the properly earlier than check in and we were let inside the place and it was a complete disaster (pictures sent to the property management and host, needed if available). At the time we had requested early check-in that included a charge of USD 45 as it was never granted we understood as we arrived around 3PM, that the apartment has not been cleaned by the housekeeping team it would need some time and the check in time would not be met. I reached out to the property management company who at first was reluctant to offer any compensation as check in was at 4PM until I advised that we were in the property, it was 4PM and we could not check in as the place was not cleaned. They offered to waive the cleaning fee which at the moment seemed okay as we left our bags and head into town to get some food from our travels. We got back at 7:45 PM and the cleaners were still there finishing up! They did not leave the property until 8:15 which was very inconvenient as we expected them to be completed with cleaning earlier so our group could get some rest before our reservation on Thursday night, now we had to rush and get changed quickly to meet our dinner reservation. At this time we realized that the TV in the living room did not work and worst of all, one of the rooms AC was not working, compensation was not sufficient for all the troubles.
