Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This suite, 231B, was a great value for our trip to Tybee. The suite was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. While it does not have a balcony or view, the easy beach access and full use of the Beachside Colony amenities more than made up for it. We especially enjoyed the pools, onsite dining, and convenient location. We would happily book this suite again. It is becoming our go to for a long weekend away from Atlanta.

Overall, in a good location. Has 2 pools and The Deck restaurant. This particular unit has no view or balcony. Has windows on either end that open to the hallway. The unit was sandy immediately as we entered. The master bathroom was also not as clean as I would expect it to be. The dishwasher really needs to be deep cleaned and doesn’t clean the dishes well. We still enjoyed our week and would rent from Beachside Colony again

Great Beach Trip

We loved coming to be together at this cool condo complex. It was dog friendly, but the Tybee Beach is not dog friendly. Would definitely come here again!

Mini vacation

The staff were friendly and did not shy away from our dog. The room was well kept and had everything you needed. No fault of the facility but dogs are not allowed on the beach which was a little disappointing. We did find a dog park where she was able to run around. The restaurant on site did not disappoint. We would definitely stay here again.

Tried getting to beach prior to sunrise with no luck due to the gates would not allow us to go through the property seeing the pool area did not open till 8:00 AM.Sunrise is at 7:00 AMHad to go down road to gain public access to Beach.

There were issues with the air conditioner noise in one bedroom and got very little sleep. Ceiling fan could not be used because it also made noise. Dishwasher appeared to have possibly mold in it. No views from condi at all.

We were disappointed with our stay. The listing advertised a hot tub, but there was not one on the property, which was a major reason we chose this rental. On top of that, the home was not clean upon arrival. The couch was noticeably dirty, several light switches were broken, and there were oracle cards left out, which felt unprofessional for a vacation rental.We reached out to the host regarding these issues and never received a reply, which was especially frustrating.The property has potential, but the inaccurate listing, cleanliness concerns, maintenance problems, and lack of communication made our stay far less enjoyable. I hope the host updates the listing and improves both the cleaning and responsiveness moving forward.

It is in a quiet location without a view but does have easy access to all of the amenities at Beachside Colony. We were thrilled with the lower price of the suite compared to the oceanfront condos. We spent most of our time by the pool and at beach. We also rented bikes and explored the island, so we were not in the suite very much. It was great to cool off and have lunch in the condo when it was getting too hot and sunny. We definitely will come back and love the savings we had staying at the resort but without the expense of the larger condos. We were glad there are other options.

We arrived on Saturday & left by Monday not knowing if the weather would worsen due to the impending tropical storm/ hurricane. I communicate understand that I did not purchase insurance, however I did reach out to the owner & she has yet to reply. Disappointed that there was no further Communication.. even once I informed them that we left the condo.

Nice location but no hot tub and uncomfortable seating

Overall nice place but we chose the place over others because it had a hot tub listed under amenities. There is no hot tub and when we asked about it they updated the listing instead of responding. Only enough comfortable seats for two. Had moldy smell,and dirty floors(beyond what is expected of beach property). Blenders and glassware were all dusty. Second bedroom mini split had dust buildup and a bright blue light that disturbed our sleep. There was a quiet setting that we found the 2nd night but zero sleep the first one due to ac noise. Two different sets of checkout procedures were left with conflicting information that were very aggressive in tone. Otherwise wonderful place and great location. Close to elevators. Would stay there again. Just needs some additional cleaning and communication.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time to Tybee Island. We are glad we chose to rent a condo at Beachside Colony Resort. The location is great, and having access to the beach from the property was a huge plus, especially since you have to pay to park everywhere else you go on the island!!! This area of the beach is nice too, not nearly as crowded as South Beach. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially Doreen! This condo is one of the inner condos that doesn’t have windows to the outside world. I knew this when I booked it and was a little concerned we’d feel like we were in a dungeon, but because the condo is spacious, bright, and decorated nicely it was fine! It was worth the savings to stay in this unit!!! The pools were clean and well maintained. There were plenty of lounge chairs available ea h time we used the pools. It’s nice that there are two pools because neither of them is very large. We are used to staying at resorts that offer activities such as ping pong, corn hole, pool games, and activities. We did miss those things, but overall Beachside Coliny Resirt was a great place to stay!

Not clean and not happy

It felt like we were in a closet. Was not aware it was two rooms they had opened a locked door to to try to make it one big room. Could not open the blinds bcz they faced nothing but walls and roof top ac unit. This place was not clean (stains on blankets and sheets, dog hair everywhere, and what appeared to be black mold in the extra bedroom. A leak spot had been there for some time. Once we turned off the ac all unit it smelled like mold pretty bad. I called and complained and they were good about moving us to another unit and it was beach front. She was quick to make it right and there was no up charge to the switch. Had this not happened quickly we would have asked for a full refund and ended our stay bcz it was expensive. I stayed in south FL for the same amount of money but for twice as long. All in all, I would make sure you know what kind of room you are staying in and survey the ceiling and pull back bed sheets as soon as you walk in!
