If you want to go hiking during the vacations, there are a number of hiking opportunities in the beautiful landscape here. A suitable excursion for most people is to the mountain "Hest". Here you can enjoy a great view of the Ryfylke basin. Otherwise, it is not far from the cottage to the starting point for the Himakånå hike in Nedstrand, also called "little Trolltunga". Or make a trip to the climbing park "Høyt og Lavt". For city experiences we recommend the beautiful Haugesund with its restaurants at the pier. Also visit Karmøy, Åkrasanden, the national tourist route Ryfylke, Preikestolen and Kjerag on the Lysefjord.
