The property was quiet, breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately the bathroom grout was very old and worn and shower handle was leaking. The vanity sink was rough and dated. Walk to the room was quite a lot. They should offer partial refund if a customer checks out early after using only 25% of the day rather than the full day rate.

Peaceful Retreat in Ubud – Highly Recommended! I had a lovely stay at Element by Westin Ubud and would definitely return. The hotel is modern, very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It offers great facilities, including a swimming pool, spa, and a well-equipped gym. Although it’s a non-smoking hotel, there are two designated outdoor smoking areas that are thoughtfully placed so as not to disturb other guests—very considerate for both smokers and non-smokers. The staff truly stood out—they were warm, helpful, and always available to assist. Room service was quick and efficient, and housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the room daily. One of the highlights was the complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud center and the Monkey Forest, running every two hours. Just a small note: during peak times or when large groups book the shuttle, it can fill up quickly. It would be helpful if the hotel could offer an extra shuttle in those cases. A nice bonus is the free use of bicycles and electric motorbikes, which makes exploring Ubud even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and varied, though I would have loved to see more cheese options. Still, everything else was fresh and plentiful. The hotel is located in a peaceful area with walkable streets leading to the center. I personally prefer this quiet location over staying in the busy, noisy parts of Ubud. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a relaxing atmosphere.

The staff here was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. It’s a bit of a drive from the airport, but it is overall a great area to stay in. The restaurant is amazing and so are the amenities (like the spa and pool). It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
