The internationally renowned country opera house of Glyndebourne sits along the South Downs (12 miles), almost as famous for its chic picnics as its high musical values. This idyllic region is home to a wide range of historic landmarks and popular attractions including Sheffield Park and Garden, Bedelands Nature Reserve, Buxted Park, Ashdown Forest, Plumpton Racecourse and Nutley Windmill, all within 15 miles. For a day by the sea, the vibrant resort of Brighton is within easy reach (25 miles).
