I messaged the property manager right after I booked our stay back in the summer about the possibility of a slightly early check in, no response. I waited and reached out again months later, still no response. Itâs fine if the answer is no, but itâs really stressful not to get any response at all and show up to a new property and just hope it all works out. We arrived at 3pm, check in was 4pm, nothing was posted in the app regarding how we would get the code to check in and still no contact.
At 4pm I checked the app, no entry code. We were out to lunch at that point, but on our way back the owner finally texted me. Apparently I was supposed to get some sort of automatic email with the key code which I never received. However, I didnât even know to anticipate the email.
Once we got on the property it was absolutely lovely. The house is new, clean, clearly set up for couples and families. Great location near a cute shopping center with coffee and pastries. So overall we loved the property once we had access. If there had been better communication up front, this would be fives all around.
