ATMOSPHERE
Beach/Coastal feel from the moment you arrive.
Smell of the salt/sea in the air when you go out the backyard near the river that is consistently flushed by the tides of the nearby Ocean.
Relax watching the bird life such as seagulls and white Cockatoos fly up and down the river enjoying their evening flight.
Catching fish from the backyard is possibly , if you burley with a few loafs of bread to make the bream excited to eat.

WEATHER
Warm climate to go to the beach and have that summer swim. Enjoy that summer breeze as it comes gently up-the-river to cool you off.
Winters are less dramatic than inland due to the ocean water.

The Coffs Harbour Jetty is an historically important timber wharf where coastal shipping once moved the timber from the hinterland.
It is listed on the NSW State Heritage Registar because of its significance

This Place Keeps getting Better

This was our 3rd year at this Holiday House, Bream and mud crabs were on, we remembered our crab pots this year, can’t beat fresh seafood from the back yard, not to mention the new 6 burner BBQ, any chef who be happy to be cooking on it, still a bit of rain but with back completely covered from the weather it’s not a problem, we will definitely be booking again.Thanks Paula and Matt

If I had to give a rating out of 10 I would have to say 12! Beautiful location quiet and relaxing. Spotlessly clean with everything you might need for your holiday. The hosts are also very approachable. I would be happy to recommend this property. We will certainly be back!

Peaceful and stress free

Great location on the river. Alive with birdlife. Two bedrooms and large living area. Very clean and well provided for self catering. Probably not practical to walk to town but a very easy short drive. Light sleepers may be disturbed by nearby train line. Did not bother us.A splendid location to enjoy a cool drink while spending hours watching the river go by.Recommended.

The property has been very well appointed and super well equipped for bbqs, kitchen cooking and general comfort. The beds were comfy, loungeroom great for a Netflix binge and fishing/crabbing from the backyard is a great bonus!The hosts have put a great deal of thought in to this property. 2 couple, 4 adults had plenty of space to share comfortably.A short walk to the BP for ice and icecreams and the town was only minutes away with awesome parmys at the pub, great fish n chips, coffee, and grocery store with all the fancy holiday foods (including hot food) you could possibly want for.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with.Great tranquil spot on the river where we could sit outside and relax or eat and fish at the same time. A nice quiet street and only a short trip into town.I highly recommend staying here.

Great location

Great location, house was kept very tidy and clean. Beautiful view of the river. No gas in gas bottle to use the bbq, we replaced that at the service station. I understand cameras at the front of the property for security but to have them all around the house is very strange. Given the visitors paying to stay there are entitled and have a right to privacy. It honestly felt like you were being watched consistently when sitting out the back, In saying this the led lights came on for every movement made (people moving or trees blowing around) and at one point we heard someone cough, the neighbours were not home and it sounded like it was coming from the camera closest to the back door 😒. Once we heard that we spent the rest of the day inside or away from the house.

Urunga On The Water

once again another visit to this great location, that was out 2nd visit and it was better than the first, WOW what a fantastic new outdoor and patio area, the whole back yard covered in from the weather and extra concrete paths, with the couple of storms we got, dry as a chip, Great fishing with Bream, flattys and a massive 1.50m Shovel Nose Shark, and this time we remembered our crab pots and caught 3 legal crabs, will book again same time next year, Thanks Paula and Matt 10/10
