This little hotel is very convenient. It is an older building but well maintained. The rooms are clean. I always travel with Clorox, Tilex for shower mold, which I use in every hotel I stay in from Hilton to the Towne Inn. The beds are pristine and comfortable, we slept well.
The area is quaint, older, a little run down but seems safe. Just lock up your car and store your property in an unseen spot.
Very pleasant & helpful staff/owner. Insisted on giving us clean towels the 2nd day even though husband said we were OK. Room was clean & decent. Outside area could use some work.
The staff was attentive and helpful. The beds and bedding were comfortable, although an additional pillow on each bed would be nice since the pillows (4) were very soft. The bathroom had been renovated and was immaculate. Ample towels and toiletries were provided. I especially appreciated the excellent lighting throughout the rooms. The refrigerator and freezer were very efficient. The tv & remote worked well. Room security was good. The in-room coffee maker's directions couldn't be read clearly, so we didn't use it. There was an ice bucket, but no directions on where to find the ice machine. The furniture was very tired and in need of replacement. No additional amenities were provided...the lobby did not provide coffee, snacks for purchase, nor a list of nearby places to eat.
The property is located in a neighborhood that is currently undergoing a revitalization. The motel is safe, clean and operated by a wonderful family. I would stay there again.
The motel stay was very affordable. Just over $100. For the price it was very good. Clean and quiet. The parking was in an enclosed area so not open to the street.
