A Gem in Central NY

Alan and Anne are fabulous hosts and the breakfasts are superb. Just be aware that this IS a 200-plus-year old house with nineteenth century quirkiness. If you prefer a sterile 21st century hotel do not stay here. If however, you appreciate the history and charm of a farmhouse which pre-dates the building of the Eire Canal, you will, like me, become a repeat visitor.

Hosted are the best ever . House is beautiful and charming , breakfast was excellent , warm conversation with hosted and other guest def the best . I suggest small diffuser or done aromatic natural oil at the trance would make the stay more pleasant . I am sensitive to smell and first walking to the front door has an unpleasant old house smell . Other than that I highly recommend to try staying here .

This is a wonderful experience away from hotel chains. Breakfast is amazing with great food. The proprietors are good to know people and the building is a little bit of preserved history. Will do this again.
