Property was wonderful. They were able to stay parked at property and walk to the stadium so they didn't have any to deal with any conjested traffic. My brother/sis-in-law from Dallas Tx loved that they could walk the quiet neighbor in the afternoon. My baby sister and her son were from Houston and loved the way the bedrooms were spaced out giving them a sense of privacy even though they were all there together. We all had dinner there one night and watched a movie in one room and played board games with the 7yr old in the back. Would love to rent again next time we are all together.
This house was perfect for staying in town to attend a friendâs wedding. We had people from Virginia and Florida meet and we fell in love with the house. The decor is tasteful and the location was close to shopping and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Itâs divided perfectly to give everyone plenty of space. Itâs also decorated beautifully! The best part was the gigantic, fenced backyard for the kids to run. They were entertained for hours back there. The host was a pleasure as well, communicated everything clearly and accurately!
We were in town for a softball tournament and shared the house with another family. The property had plenty of room for us to all spread out. The home was clean and well appointed. Rachel was a great host and was very attentive. We will definitely try to stay here again if we happen to be in the Valdosta area.
The house was located perfectly for wedding festivities, shopping, dining, 1 mile from quaint historic downtown, etc. House was beautifully decorated and spacious for the 7 adults we had in our group. Ample parking and patio space in the back of the house. 3 full bathrooms was a bonus! Large yard would be great for kids, but we stayed inside the large comfortable den and sunroom area. Bonus space in the front room was ideal for individual family members to pray, take care of personal calls or just sip coffee in a quiet space in the mornings. Access to the house was super convenient with electronic keypad that worked very well and easy to understand.
This property worked well for us. Bedrooms are spacious and attractive. We just needed a comfortable place to stay on our way to Florida. My only complaint is that my kids walked barefooted inside, and we quickly discovered that the floors were not clean. Had to wash their feet and make sure that they were wearing shoes. Otherwise we were happy with our stay!
This property did not disappoint! I just wish we would have been staying longer to enjoy the house more! We just stayed one night after spending the day at wild adventures. I loved the touches of old that they kept when renovating this home. Most rentals smell like febreeze or some other odor cover up but this house smelled great. Clean and fresh smell. We will definitely be renting again when we visit Valdosta again!
Wonderful house with lots of historic character and care put into the decor and design. We felt very at home. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The beds felt very nice. The yard is huge and we kicked around a soccer ball. Would definitely recommend for families or up to 3 couples. The location is close to VSU, downtown and the shopping area.
We LOVED this property. This was our first stop on our family vacation and honestly made our trip! This property is simply amazing and was perfect for our family! The house is amazing. The grounds are spectacular and so close to everything. Built on 1909 itâs a piece of art to stay here. Check it out. !
Very spacious. Great place for kids. Lots of running room - inside and out. It would be nice to have 1 more tv, so thereâd be 1 television for adults and 1 for children. Beds were firm - a little to firm. The first bedroom thatâs left of the kitchen has a half bathroom. Itâs very small. Also the security light from carport lights up the b-room when it comes on. Tried closing blinds and curtain still pretty lit up. Also might want to warn folks that the dryer has a buzzer when the load is finished - we found this out when daughter in law tossed in a load to dry and buzzer woke us up around 1230 AM and scared the you know what out of us!
It was halfway point for my sister and our spouses and Dad to meet. Enjoyed lunch at Longwood just a few minutes away then had the evening to catch up with each other. Home was clean and plenty of bathrooms. We did pick the coldest day/night to visit so it was chilly, but we still had a great time! Beds were comfy and warm. We only stayed overnight. Host is awesome!
We came to Valdosta for my son's graduation at VSU. This is an excellent location since it is so close to campus. I love how big and spacious this house is - perfect for eight people or more. Lots of room. It is an older house and part of the historical society so not many updates but I loved it. A little drafty in some of the house so just needed a blanket or extra clothing - we had a fabulous time!
We were looking for a quiet, nice place to stay to visit family and day travel to Jacksonville for the Georgia/Florida game. This provided all of the above. Very charming, clean, unique property. Safe, quiet area. Everything was great. Thermostat is super advanced. We finally figured out that running your finger on the edge adjusted the temperature. Very neat setup.
We loved our stay at the beautiful Steward home. Lots of great space to relax and visit with family. Very clean and lots of attention to detail with decor and charming details original to the 1940s home. It was the perfect location to stay for a few nights for a family wedding. Great communication with host and easy check in and out. Would stay there again !
The house was roomy and the host was great to communicate with. Lots of parking and big yard in back. Would stay here again when in town. Centrally located and convenient to anywhere in town.
