This is in a great location to walk and see most of beautiful València. The bed was comfy and it was clean. I wouldn’t bother about the breakfast which was provided by a cafe 5 minutes walk away. However, it’s unstaffed and whilst I was there we had a big problem. After 11 pm on my Friday night there the fire alarm went off. Absolutely no-one came. In my country the fire brigade would have arrived within minutes and turned it off. Guests, including me, were messaging Numa and we were told someone would be there in 5 minutes. We were constantly lied to. We were out in the street for a long time. Finally someone who was not best pleased turned up and so did 2 policemen. It was about 1 am before the awful noise was turned off. I will not stay anywhere where there are no staff on site ever again.

A fire alarm was activated at the property at c 11.20 pm during my stay. The Guests all left the building, some with small babies.nI rang the (premium) telephone number provided by Numa and was told by their operative (in a different country) that a member of staff was on site and that they were dealing with the problem. When I pointed out that this was not true and that other guests had also been told that a member of staff was on site, she agreed that no one had attended. Of serious note was: The fire alarm did not activate in guest bedrooms The alarm did not alert the fire brigade to attend. No one attended the Property, as suggested, from or on behalf of Numa. The Police attended at about 12.40 and the alarm was deactivated at about 1 in the morning. We were told to remain outside by the operative notwithstanding that a Public Alert had gone out to everyone in the region regarding serious adverse conditions. No one telephoned any of the Guests back, as they had agreed to do. No one informed us why the alarm had been activated. The incident is indicative of the cavalier attitude taken by Numa to its Guests. Also, of concern was that, on leaving the Property to return home we saw 2 individuals "tailgate" new arrivals into the premises. We had refused to allow them in, as they were not guests but just wanted to take a look around....

Every thing was great until it wasn’t. A leak ruined our 2nd to last night. We had no power or water, no flushing toilet. The emergency contact number was not answering. We were ignored. The follow morning we received an email asking us to leave the property despite having paid for another night. No help in finding alternative accommodation. No courtesy call. No refund despite being told 10 days, now being told 21 days. Unfortunately when you stay in properties with no in house staff, you rely on them to help when things go wrong. They have seriously let us down. And i will choose a hotel with staff next time. I appreciate it was NYE and New year’s day, and the leak was out of their control, but the help and communication was abysmal.

Room in itself was clean but there was construction going on right outside my room, which I wasn’t informed of at all in advance or no other option presented to me to change my room or anything. It was loud and noisy and very very dusty. I felt a bit unsafe too as the guys were working just outside of my room. Although no body bothered me but i was on the edge all the time. I have stayed in numa Salzburg before and i loved the experience but this one couldn’t match the standards at all.
The entire corridor was covered with paper and I couldn’t relax all day for the two days that i was in Valencia. I went on holiday to relax and have a peaceful time. That was taken from me.
As you can see in this pic, the construction ladder was exactly where i open my door. Even getting in and out if my room was so tough and not without hassle. I am disappointed.

The room was very clean, good location and comfortable. Access was easy because the instructions given previously. However, it felt a bit too impersonal and the breakfast was in a cafeteria a few blocks away. Nothing bad on it, just a feeling, others my prefer it. Good respond from the host if questions asked, lockers for luggage if needed and coffee or tea in the room, which is a plus.

We were sceptical about not having someone on premises but found that the organization and thought going into the location and set up addressed all of our concerns. They really thought of everything. The mattress and pillows were perfection, there was really good coffee in the room and the location was stellar. All of the things we would need for the room were accessible and available and when we extended our stay they made it so easy. Loved it!!

Great modern hotel experience!

My first fully digital experience. I was unaware at booking but had experienced Citizen M hotels where it was 90% digital, so I was not concerned. Prior communication from the hello ironed out everything for check in and arriving went smoothly. The room was stylish, had good storage and felt comfortable. Great bathroom, lovely dreamy bed, and quiet. Being there for 3 nights I did not need my bed made daily or bathroom cleaned. This would happen if I stayed a week from my understanding.

Love how central this place is. Very easy to access, once you get used to the pincode for everything, plus you can store your luggage in one of the lockers if you arrive in Valencia early or leave late!
