We arrived at 3 PM and the room was not ready till 4. However, Jeff rectified that and provided us with complimentary breakfast for our stay. Once in the room the washroom still had hair on the counter/ shower and the counter appeared to be not cleaned as it still had marks from bottles or some sort on the counter.

We had a great time with the friendly staff. However, be aware of the construction in the building. Inquire about it when checking in, as the person checking us in either didn’t realize or forgot to inform us about the jackhammering from 8 am to 5 pm in the room next door. While it wasn’t bothersome for us since we were mostly at the pool and outdoors, it may be inconvenient for those who want to relax in their room all day. Other takeaways: - Expedia booking didn’t please the concierge. You’ll need receipts from both the hotel and the third-party vendor, as the concierge called it. - The express checkout was not awesome. I had to call the hotel five days later for my final folio. I even filled out my email on the express card. - Frank, the bartender, was fantastic and gave us great insider tips for local sights. - The property is dated, which explains the construction. The toilet paper rolls are quite a reach from the toilet, especially for families with young children. - The pool was great early on but not so much later. Some people didn’t like kids in the pool and were grouchy.
