Don’t waste your money

Since everything in Venice is beautiful and walkable (or reachable through Vaporetto), this hotel’s location doesn’t really outweigh the negatives. The staff tried to be friendly, but the room was tiny, the eléctrica outlets did not work, and the bathroom was far from nice (tiny and unpleasant). I have stayed modestly in hotels for a long time, but this one was exceptionally bad.

Pros: Good location, low price, easy check-in (with reception on site). Cons: It's an old place that could use a makeover. Needs new matresses and pillows (pillows are very flat) Breakfast is basically just bread and coffee. I recommend skipping that option and going to the breakfast bar just across from the hotel instead.

The location of this hotel was great - close to the attractions and lot of unique vendors and eats to be had! The morning free breakfast was not quite a breakfast (a croissant, apple/orange, and beverage of choice) does not really satisfy my brunch needs lol. I was a bit thrown off by find the shower head directly in front of the toilet. When taking a shower, please be ready to be showering right infront of the toilet, no tub... The wifi is not free, I believe it was 5£ for 24 hours - not bad! Wifi is strong! If you don't plan to be spending much time in the hotel, great choice.

Great location

The hotel was excellent value for money, with an incredible location and fantastic staff. The breakfast that comes included is great and the staff were very helpful throughout. The only possible issue is that our private bathroom was not located in our room, instead it was across the hall. This wasn't really a problem for us but something people probably should be aware of. Overall a good hotel.

Great location but pick your room carefully!!

The room we were given was tiny and contained a king single sized bed (smaller than a double) for 2 people. Relatively cheap price for Venice but way too small to sell as a 2 person room! On the up side, the location was perfect. WIFI was charged at 5 Euros per day PER device. Unreasonable for 2019 in my opinion.

Great Location

Close to St Marks Square, the Rialto. Numerous eating places close by. Hotel room overlooked a canal...awakened by a motor launch starting up in the morning!! Good buffet breakfast with superb coffee.

From a service point of view they are not really in the 21st century. Although I booked my room online, I had to phone them my confirmation - which is very difficult when your phone doesn't work in Europe. It's an older hotel, but I fell they make up for everything once there by being very nice and helpful.

The bathroom was separate from our room and not near. I don t know if it was sharing So many stairs to reach our room. No cafee in the morning. I dont recommend.

Quiet bedroom, good breakfast, odd bathroom

Good location. Adequate staff--not as friendly as at another Venetian hotel we stayed at. Fine breakfast. Comfortable room. Beware Room 22 Bagno. It has no functioning ventilation. As soon as you open the door, the smell shouts, "MILDEW!" Although the bathroom has clearly been cleaned, there is mildew in the grout of the sweet floral wall tiles. The bathroom layout is a bit odd--you have to walk though the double-sided shower to get to the sink--but I understand the buildings are ancient and you have to "think outside the box" when renovating. Well, you won't linger in this bathroom, that's for sure. Wi-fi was available, but not free.
