A lovely, quiet, well appointed and clean property with clear and open views across the bay to Dingle. There is ample parking in a front area for multiple vehicles. Three three small steps up to the entrance but otherwise it is all on one level - so OK for folks with mobility issues. The property is accessed via a windy single-lane (but 2-way) road, which may be a problem for some, and is a 15-20 minute drive to Dingle. There are a few annoying things, unusual in my experience in multiple VRBO stays: No shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms, a lovely fireplace but no firewood (when asked I was told we had to buy it ourselves at a petrol station), an extremely well-equipped kitchen but very dull knives and no sharpener in sight, a washing machine but NO DRYER (took two days on a drying rack for our clothes to dry), a non-working outlet next to the master bed, so no bedlamp. Note that checkin is quite late (5pm) and checkout early (10:30).Interacting with the management company was unpleasant and irksome - what we initially thought was a kind offer to meet us to help settle in, was actually a demand to be present on arrival - since we arrived late in the evening, this did not happen. The agent knew we would arrive late, but did not supply the key code -- the lockbox was open on arrival however (we believe it was broken -- we could not lock it when we left) so we were able to access the house. We found all further communications with the agent to be generally unpleasant.
