This hotel was very run down and overpriced. Not worth the value. Our room had so many things wrong with it: 1) the room smelled like rotten feet 2 ) all the chairs were peeling 3) towels were full of others’ hair 4)shower drain barely working 5) the worst was we kept hearing light knocking on the shower glass door throughout our stay. We were waken by the noise in the middle of the night. That place is haunted.

Run dont walk from this place

Got there requested room i could ride up to door . What i Got was a rm On the second floor 1/4 mi from my vehicle with no elevator right on a freeway which would have been a noise problem , but the airconditioner was so loud and banged every time compressor kicked in. Rm smelled like a horse trailer no ice machine any where near by . My partner didnt sleep at all between smell ( horse trailer ) and ac bangging n clunking . Run dont walk from this place . Overpriced at $100 let alone what it cost at $230. I called and complained . Operator said 100 dollar credit would be offered. Need to cgheck these places alot more carefully .

It's an older property, but it was clean and spacious. Location is great, super close to beach and pier. Breakfast was normal hotel hot breakfast. I dealt with 3 different people, 1 was great the other two seemed a little off put by the fact I had questions. All in all I would definitely stay again.

Great location. I have been staying at the Pierpoint my whole life but it was disappointing that it is under renovation. Now it does not gave a lobby, bar, or restaurant. I did not know this before booking.

There is much to like at this property. The beds are super comfy, the toiletries are nice quality, the parking is spacious, and the grounds, the breakfast is generous, and the grounds are just beautiful. What I don't like is that the renovations are taking WAY TO LONG. The pictures on their website in regards to the grounds are very deceiving. Overall, this hotel is perfect for us for many reasons.

The hotel is very close to the beach and the room itself was nice. The free breakfast was nice and the grounds beautiful. Just stayed one night to visit the nearby national park.
