Borgo Vico: A Piece of History Between Lake and Mountains



Looking for relaxation and an authentic atmosphere? Welcome to Borgo Vico. This charming 60 sqm home, once a family farmhouse, is set in a small, historic hilltop village with panoramic views over Lake Novate Mezzola (an extension of Lake Como). The house has been restored with local granite and natural materials. Our grandparents once lived here year-round, surrounded by chestnut woods, storing chestnuts for flour and wine barrels from the valley.



Today, it’s a soulful retreat, perfect for couples or families (up to 3 guests) to explore Valchiavenna and Valtellina.



Two floors:

Upstairs: double bedroom with private bathroom and balcony overlooking the lake. Wake up to a unique view!

Downstairs: living room with single sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen.



Comforts: Wi-Fi, TV, fan (the house is sunny and has no air conditioning), gym equipment, crib and high chair.



Outdoors & Relaxation:

Private garden, two balconies, and a panoramic terrace with loungers and umbrella. The perfect spot to relax, have breakfast, or enjoy an aperitif at sunset. You can pick our fresh herbs!



Location & Adventure:

5 minutes by car from the lake and SS36. Dominant position, ideal for hiking (Val Codera and Sentiero del Tracciolino), cycling, and water sports.

Note: The house is in the historic village, accessible by mountain road (narrow in places but passable) with private parking for 3 cars.



Extra services: massages on site with a professional and linen change available for an extra fee. Family-run with care by two sisters. No pets, smoking, or events. We look forward to welcoming you!

Sehr schönes Häuschen, mit toller Terrasse und traumhaften Blick. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet und die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist eher schmal, mit recht steilem Anstieg. Wir hatten einen Kleinwagen gemietet und hatten somit keine Probleme.

traumhaftes Haus mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Das schon äußerlich schöne Haus ist bestens und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die große Einbauküche beinhaltet Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Backofen, Gasherd mit Selbstzündung, Geschirrspüler. Das gesamte Mobiliar ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig, z.B. das Lederbett mit festen Matratzen. Die sehr große Terrasse, mit Blick auf den Lago di Mezzola und die Berge ringsum, ist mit Sonnenliegen, Tisch und Stühlen gut ausgestattet. Der Service ist einmalig. Samanta und ihre Schwester Sara, die alles vor Ort managt, sind sehr sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Den den üblichen Ausstattungsgegenständen eines Ferienhauses werden hier zusätzlich Wanderstäbe, Regenschirme, Schuhanzieher, Spiele und mehr geboten. Auf dem großen Grundstück hat man einen privaten PKW-Stellplatz. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über ein ferngesteuertes, elektrisches Tor. Ab mittags bis zum Sonnenuntergang hat man Sonne pir auf der Terrasse.

Fijn en schoon huis met prachtig uitzicht.

Pros: Het huis heeft een prachtig uitzicht en is echt heel erg schoon. Vriendelijk host en inchecken goed geregeld. Parkeren heel fijn op eigen terrein achter het hek.

Een heel mooi, fris, leuk en schoon huis!

Pros: Het uitzicht was spectaculair. We hebben genoten van de plek en de rust. Heerlijke ligbedden buiten om in de zon te liggen èn een geweldig lieve host, altijd bereikbaar en hulpvaardig.
