Upon driving, my husband and I started laughing thinking this was going to be one of those hotels. As soon as we got in our room we were welcomed with complete opposition from what we were expecting. The rooms were clean and bedding and towels were fresh, the flooring was clean enough to walk around barefooted. It was a peaceful and pleasant stay, will recommend and will return to stay at again next time we are in the area.

The Red River Inn was a nice, quiet place to stay. It was clean, the bed was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was waffles, sweet buns, juice and coffee just as described by others. It’s an older motel, like many others along highway 70.

The staff were friendly,the breakfast was surprisingly good, the room was large with a large bathroom, clean with a great shower head and comfortable bed.It's definitely dated but that makes it quaint.A bit of a clean up with paint outside would be nice.Would definitely make a return trip when passing through.

The room had everything we needed. Breakfast was sufficient; hot options were waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy. No eggs or oatmeal packets or cereal or milk. Would have liked fruit and yogurt, but it was sufficient. Walls were very thin; we heard every word said by the very talkative people in the room next to us.

Wouldn’t recommend

Room was not the cleanest and I didn’t really feel safe. There were a lot of people hanging around the parking lot and with their room doors open peering out. It was odd. Bathroom door handle was broken and they didn’t seem to care.

Not bad for one night.

Room was clean and the young man at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast wasn't much of anything, but continentals never are. Would like to have seen some eggs. Coffee way too strong for me.

We just drove from Texas to NM and decided to spend the night here. We are a family with young children. I didn’t expect the room to be this nice, it smells good and is very clean. I highly recommend this place for travelers. The man at the front desk was kind and respectful. Kudos to the staff!
