I stayed to visit my family but have my own space ..The carriage house was compact but had everything needed to enjoy my time .. The place was super quiet being separate from the house , the bed was very comfortable , a private parking spot and the location was very central . A definite bargain for a Victoria getaway !
This is a lovely property! I would say though that itâs very compact and doesnât have room to have a couple of friends over for a visit. for instance. A great place for just 2 people. Well appointed- just couldnât find a can opener đ
Although it is small and compact, it didn't feel claustrophobic. The kitchen has the latest appliances and well stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, food storage containers, and much more. There is a portable and powerful air-conditioner. It has a stackable washer and dryer and a cordless vacuum cleaner. The cottage is self contained and doesn't really require interaction with people one would normally needed to interact with in a hotel and a motel. The cottage itself was built behind a new home on a quiet street. Outside of chatting with the parents of a neighbor, I didn't see or interact with anyone as I went to and back from visiting relatives and a little sight-seeing an area of Saanich I have not been. I would greatly recommend this as an affordable alternative to the expensive hotel and motel rooms in downtown Victoria.
My sister and I loved our stay! It is a cute and cozy, super well stocked carriage house with a nice little outside private deck. Everything inside is brand new and clean! We appreciated the coffee and cream in the fridge.
We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. It was in a quiet neighborhood and a short drive to Victoria and easy to connect to highways heading north. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and make coffee in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and TV. There is not a lot of seating just the two seat couch and bed, no room in the kitchen for chairs.
We were delighted with our four nights. The quiet residential area was a welcome contrast to Victoria's busy downtown. As promised, it was close to the major routes to be able to get around with ease. The house is new, modern and wonderfully decorated. We made good use of the impressive, fully-equipped kitchen and slept very well in an excellent queen-size bed. The owner clearly cares about a visitor's comfort and convenience. For us, it easily compares to $400/night accommodation. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Victoria.
Beautiful carriage house centrally located in Victoria. Everything you might need is in the suite with clever, efficient use of the space. The neighbourhood is quiet but only blocks away from main arteries. High quality bed and soaker tub were highlights.
