Staff was terrific and you can’t beat the location. We checked in late and unfortunately got a (nice) room on the 2nd floor that unfortunately looked out to the ramp for the underground parking. The cleaning staff had left the windows open and the room smelled like weed when we got there. If you stay here, be sure to book the more expensive rooms on a higher floor or consider staying somewhere else.

The hotel staff were friendly and kind. They spoke to you with sincerity. I liked the location of the hotel in town. Easy to get around. I used it as a base and traveled out as far as Sooke and returned each evening. Very comfortable stay.
