This basement suite is clean and roomy. Since the property is on a hill, the backside of the unit gets lots of natural light and looks out onto the garden. I'm not sure if the garden is available for guests to use.I found the unit to be equipped with just about everything I need for my stay. The kitchen has a decent set of cookware and utensils. There is a starter amount of coffee and tea, though no spices. The in-unit washer and dryer is convenient. The bedroom is spacious with a very firm mattress. The suite is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It's not walkable to many shops or restaurants, but it is close to transit. It is a basement suite so there is quite a bit of noise from the upstairs occupants (owners?). I did find myself getting annoyed with the sound of their squeaky floors. And on weekends they were usually moving around well past midnight, so earplugs are recommended. Other notes for travelers would be that if you're tall, the low ceilings might be bothersome and if you're over 6' (1.8m), you might not fit in the shower. This unit is not a good choice if you have mobility issues as the driveway is steep and there's a step down into the front door.
