The hotel is nice. The staff weren't super accomodating in terms of we wanted to shift our stay by 1 day. I get that, I wish they were a bit more flexible but the policy is policy so whatever. My bad. But the bathroom shower was not clean. There were literal footprints in it and there were crumbs on the carpet. Didnt give the greatest confidence it was cleaned. Had to wash the shower so I could bathe my kids. Anyways, mixed experience.

Parking can be an issue with the bar below, and if those type of toilet paper dispensers were a good idea you wouldn’t be the only hotel I have ever stayed at that uses them. On that note I will definitely be back!!! Victoria can be very expensive in the summer and this is a nice hotel for a nice price. I think this was my 3rd time here, always leave happy.

We were pleasantly surprised that the staff and facilities when we checked in. The room was very clean and updated, and the only complaint we really have is that the placement of the air conditioner in the room was so low that it blew cold air on the bed.

I like the property, the staff is nice, it's quit and family friendly but I think they should work a little more on the cleanliness, we found hair in our bed and around the washroom door had some mold. Also, i dropped some water on their carpet which is black and dark already, but when i used some paper towel to clean it up, the paper was completly black just like the carpet. Needs a deep carpet clean. Other than that.. the location is good, and the Floyd Diner downstairs is a must go to have breakfast or lunch.

The property is definitely family-friendly. Our grandsons loved the separate rooms on the main floor with a putter and basket ball shooter as well as the lounge room with a foosball table, ping-pong table, giant jenga, board games and free popcorn (nice touch), not to mention the outdoor pool. It was a great way to get kids off their phones and involved in activities with the older ones using the gym equipment. What could have been better? A few more coffee pods in the room to keep the adults awake.
