The listing for this apartment was wildly inaccurate. The pictures did not reflect the sacks of empty beer bottles in the kitchen, the addition of a pool table to one of the bedrooms, nor the reshuffling of furniture to move the clothes cupboard (completely taped shut) to the hallway and the downgrading of the bed frame from furniture to a box of cardboard. Yes, the bed frame was simply a cardboard box. "Family friendly" cannot be used to describe this apartment when you consider the explicit drawings hanging from the dining room light fixture and the nude photographs and artwork littering nearly every corner of the apartment. Checking into the apartment was next to impossible. In the entry, there were approximately 35 pairs of shoes in front of the door, a woman who spoke no English also trying to enter the apartment, and a set of keys that did not turn the lock. It's hard to overstate how filthy the couches were; perhaps they had been used as motor oil changing stations. Part of the appeal of the apartment is the library, but forget about reading any of the books, as they're locked up. All the closets were also locked or taped shut and the pool table bedroom with the cardboard bed frame also had a large sewing machine with a handwritten sign saying "do not touch." Almost everything about this apartment was different from the pictures. Half of our party left three days early and the rest of us left a day early. Great bathtub.
