Good but needs some adjustments.
I had felt so at ease in booking this VRBO but unfortunately it did not meet all of my standards. I will say however that it is a beautiful VRBO they have. The bed is comfortable (so is the pull out couch). The unit is clean. The TV is functional and large if you’re into that. Very close to the train station. My hope is that this review will assist them in making their VRBO even better.
1. The shower drain was our biggest issue. The water did not drain and would get backed up. We took it upon ourselves to try to unblock/unclog it by buying drain cleaner. Unfortunately that did nothing. I reached out to the host twice and he did not respond. I put my fingers down the drain (I know that is gross but I didn’t know what else to do) and received a broken part of the shower nozzle. Taking out that broken piece of the shower nozzle did even not stop the blockage, there is something else causing it to be blocked/clogged. However, the host did not answer my messages and we were left to stand in inches of water while we showered.
2. There is construction directly across from the building that the VRBO is in. Very loud power saws and hammering begins at 7am. While I understand this is out of control of the owners of the VRBO, it should be mentioned in the listing.
3. The VRBO wasn’t really stocked in terms of toilet paper (two rolls for a 5 day stay between two people, no bidet) or cleaning supplies. This would be a great addition to the VRBO.
