We travelled for my partners birthday and the staff were excellent at making it special for her. Special shoutout to Nawal in reservations and Jojo in watersports/recreation, both really made an effort to make it special for my partner! The food was very good, wherever you go. Would recommend Hamakaze!

Amazing and professional resort. They are reliable, attentive and the closest resort to the airport for convenience. Great for long stays, as well as shorts stays for the beginning and end of the vacation, so you can hop off your flight and be relaxing in minutes, or spend your final day relaxed knowing you will make your flight on time. I always recommend Kurumba Maldives.

I love how the staff treated me and my friend, they are attentive, welcoming and every time they had the chance they ask how it’s the vacation so far. They have different dining options, the activities you can book at place, they give you one hour free kayak daily and also snorkeling equipment. We had the opportunity to met the general manager and some of the kitchen staff, like the sour chef Pedro from Brazil, he was delightful and helpful due to the breakfast for out early check out. I love my stay there, definitely I’ll come back if I have the chance.

Kurumba good for short family beach vacation. Very low value for money, way over priced & extremely expensive. Restaurants & activities are opportunists taking advantage of guests imposing monopolized & extremely excessive & exaggerated prices. Keep your respect & stay away especially from the GM & his managers because they are fake & all they care about is money. They treat you as a “customer” not a “paying guest” ignoring all basic hospitality manners & ethics. I paid for a package in advance. They clearly act as your enemies & don’t trust you showing their ugly truth & harass you to pay your orders bills as if you & your family will sneak out from the island where you are stranded under their mercy if you want to run away from the island. They should be smarter & show respect & trust to guests & since package was paid in advance, normally all balance of bills is paid at checkout. GM showed a lot of disrespect & unprofessional behavior & untrusting attitude towards me & my family & he refused to meet me to discuss & address my concerns & issues & complaints saying that he’s the General Manager & it’s not his job to do that & at his level he doesn’t talk to customers about these things & I should talk to one of his assistants. Absolutely don’t interact or deal with the GM & his managers in order to keep your respect & dignity & relax & enjoy your family vacation peacefully without any anger & stress & without fake & nonsense & unprofessional hospitality.

Honestly, this wasn't what I expected. For the high price, you're better off choosing a resort that actually feels worth it. It’s advertised as all-inclusive, but that only applies to one restaurant—which was okay, but definitely not amazing. For the others, you still have to pay 50%, and their prices are extremely high. Every little add-on costs extra. The speedboat transfer is $114 per person for a ride that’s barely 10 minutes—many other resorts offer this for free. The deluxe villa was spacious and clean, and the island itself is well-maintained, but that’s about it. Some staff were very kind, but checkout was uncomfortable. At 6 a.m., they were already ringing up the bill and repeatedly sending people to our villa, which felt intrusive and unnecessary. I wouldn’t return. After two days, there wasn’t much to do, and the evenings were especially dull. I really wish I had chosen a different resort.
