Excellent facilities and comfortable bedrooms close to bars/restaurants and beach. The only downside for us was that we had an evening flight and couldn't leave our luggage after the check out at 11 a.m. Places we have stayed before have allowed this and can be a great plus for guests.

A lovely stay with everything we needed

Fantastic stay to visit our son working in the marina. Sabine was a super host who offered to pick us up from the train station as it was raining when we arrived. Town is a few minutes walk away. Views across the marina from dawn until dusk. Two sandy beaches offering plenty of walks, and leisure facilities. perfect. Barcelona 30 - 40 minutes on the train. Simple

Stunning apartment

Sabine was there to greet us and show us around. She was very friendly and got back to us really quickly if we had any questions. We had a problem with our flights and had to change the reservation - Sabine was great, she changed it immediately without complaint. The flat itself was spotless and beautiful. The location is amazing and we loved being able to eat out on the balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the living area was perfect for our family with two teenagers.

Excellent stay

Really enjoyed the apartment. Couldn’t fault anything. Very well equipped, pleasant comfortable living room, excellent kitchen, everything you need. Good beds, efficient showers. A lovely balcony with furniture at the front to watch the world go by. Communication with Sabine was faultless. Very well situated. Easy walk to the beaches and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby as well as a local supermarket 2 minutes away and an indoor market. Short walk to the Rambla with its many shops, places to eat and drink and the wonderful Municipal market. In a word, ‘perfect’ can highly recommended.

Very comfortable and good service

A very comfortable aprtment with virtrually all the important facilites. Perahaps a tumble drier for the occaisional urgemt drying would have been helpful. The hosts were particularly helpful. Responded quickly with visits to sort out some minor problems, even when I indicated that it wasn't urgent. Most particulary when I incurred a problem having forgotten about parking charges at the weekend, they sorted out the problem at no cost - svaing me a lot of money. I was particularly grateful about that. That said the VRBO entry seems to my mind to indicate there was completely free parking specifically for the apartment, rather than the open-to-the-public on street parking, with weekend charges. They could perhpas look at that. However I don't wish to over-emphsise that. All in all they were excellant hosts and the place very near perfect and good value for the price. Thank you very much.

Fantastic!!

We had a fantastic stay and Sabine was super helpful throughout! The apartment was the perfect base for us to explore both local Vilanova attractions and beaches as well as up and down the coast and inland. The apartment is well equipped and really well located across from the marina. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when visiting

First floor apartment in Vilanova

Property is in a great location, close to the high street and all the local restaurants. 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, perfect for what we wanted, the only thing I could really fault it on is it could have done with a more comfortable seating area in the lounge and the shower needed a more thorough clean. There is also only enough seating for 5 people in the lounge. There is parking for cars which is free in the week but you have to pay at the weekends.

Great Stay!

This location was perfect for us as we did not want to stay too close to the city but still only about an hour or so away by train. It is very close to lots of shops, places to eat and supermarket all within walking distance. Sabine was a great host and quick to respond to any questions we had and very accommodating by letting us check-in early. The place was very spacious and had everything we needed. It is very close to the beach so if you plan to go, be sure to bring beach clothes, towels and umbrella as it can get very hot! Definitely would stay again!

An apartment far beyond expectations!!

My wife and 3 kids spent 6 days in this stellar apartment. Do not hesitate one moment to rent this property with VRBO and enjoy the great service of Sabine & Marc the property managers. This is a spacious, very clean and fully equipped apartment with everything you need for a great stay (air conditioning, washing machine, even up to the espresso machine for the mornings). We felt like we were home...! Tastefully decorated with new furniture and comfortable beds, this is a jewel. Also, the location is exceptional (port front close to the beaches (5-10min walk), the grocery stores (closest is not even 1 min walk) and the central activity of Vilanova i la Geltru (5-10 min. walk). We were close to lots of nice restaurants and really enjoyed the evenings walking in the streets with the kids. This is a peace of mind reservation process for memorable vacations. We strongly recommend this place without hesitation. Thanks so much again to the property managers who are by far the best we had the pleasure to meet. Bravo et merci de tout coeur Sabine et Marc!

Wonderful appartment

We had a wonferful long weekend staying in the beautiful and spacious 1st floor appartment. It's a short walk from the train station and is ideally located close to the beaches, Ramblas and all amenities. Marc was very friendly and welcoming. It more than ticked all the boxes. We would definitley recomend the appartment and Vilanova itself. We will be back! P.S. If you get the chance eat at Cal Purgat restaurant, delicious food and exceptional service.

Our rental experience was great. We were met promptly when we arrived. Apartment is very nice and kitchen had all the requirements for cooking a nice fish dinner we bought at central market. Very close to beaches & overlooks the port. We enjoyed our time in Vilanova!

A lovely apartment in a perfect position

We chose Vilanova because of the easy train access to Barcelona but we fell in love with Vilanova itself. Lovely beaches and old town with a relaxed atmosphere. Just what is needed if you have been sightseeing all day. It seems to have a lot of festivals and things going on during the summer too. The apartment itself is spacious with everything we needed and it is in a great location. We spent early evenings on the balcony taking it easy and watching the world go by before cooking or going out to one of the many restaurants. The owner Sabine is friendly and welcoming. The only small downside was the requirement for a cash deposit in Euros which meant we had a lot of money to exchange on our return to the UK and we lost out on the exchange rates. It would have been nice to stay longer than the week and explore the region a bit more. I guess we will just have to go back for another glorious holiday

Beautiful apartment in great location

We had a lovely time in Vilanova. The apartment was perfect, with a nice view of the Marina. It is ideally situated for the main shopping area, train station, restaurants and beach. We parked our car near the lighthouse 2 minutes walk away where it is free but there is meter parking outside the apartment. Sabine could not have been more helpful.

Beautiful apartment

My husband and I stayed in the 1st floor apartment with balcony. Sabine welcomed us on arrival. Both she and her husband were friendly and helpful people. The apartment was spotless and very spacious. It has been recently modernised and decorated to a very high standard. We found that although it was very convenient to everything, it was totally quiet at night. We found the photos on the website a little confusing, not knowing which photos referred to which of the three properties but when we asked Sabine, she forwarded the correct photos for our choice of apartment. It was not a problem. The ground floor has the large enclosed terrace at the back of the property, safe for children, ours had a balcony with a view at the front and also a small utility balcony at the back. It has been mentioned by another reviewer that a particularly large deposit is required but I think this is because of the very high quality of the fixtures and fittings. Sabine is very particular that the apartment is left as it is found on arrival. We highly recommend this lovely property!
