There was construction taking place on the beach directly outside my window. All evening was construction movements and beeping when they would back up. This should have been disclosed when booking, or a price decrease to compensate. I was extremely disappointed. The bedding was very nice, though.

Had to take 3 rooms to be satisfied.first two had no locks or broken locks on the sliders and warped sliders and entrance doors. Pool was VERY cloudy. Housekeeping should be every day for the price we paid. No communication between Expedia and you. There was no beach! The CAT bull dozers, equipment ran 24 hours a day pushing mud and dirt from one place to another-forward and backward-bing,bing,bing,bing-all day and night. The Naval air shot ear shattering noise over head. Awful!

Overall, this hotel was great. The lady at the check-in desk was super friendly. The room was clean and up-to-date. Everything worked as it should. Great access to the beach and pier. It was nice to have parking on the premises but was pretty tight for our large Expedition. We were limited to the first two levels. This wasn't a problem this time of year, but would be during the busy season to find a spot we could fit. The biggest drawback were the slamming of doors. The doors on the rooms don't seem to have hinges and close quickly and loudly. This woke us up each morning starting at 6 a.m. and would continue. Unfortunately, although we loved the hotel, we wouldn't stay here again because of this issue.

No warning that beach construction was going right outside- we didn't have to walk far for beach access so it wouldn't have been an issue but the construction trucks ran throughout the night. Constant beeping and rumbling Bathroom door in our room didn't lock- door is a barn door style and must be warped One issue that is very concerning due to safety- Outside hotel door on ocean side is supposed to require hotel key but currently doesn't require key card to enter The pool is listed as heated but it was cold our entire visit, it was also cloudy the whole visit Breakfast ends at 9- in our opinion that's too early for people wanting to sleep in on vacation
