The house was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The location is easy to find and feels secluded. Sitting on the deck enjoying the yard view was a treat. We would certainly stay again.
We enjoyed staying in this cabin near Volcano National Park. It was clean and comfortable. Pros were: cleanliness, comfy beds, couches and blankets, purified water, lots of space heaters, and location. Cons were: difficulty checking in and no coffee/tea or board games. Some places have coffee/tea and board games and some don't, but it would have been nice and made the cabin even better. We didn't receive the check in instructions in advance so we were desperately trying to contact them on the day of check in to get them, and communication was slow and difficult before we got a response. Once they sent the instructions to us and we were able to get in the cabin, our stay was lovely. So if you stay here, definitely make sure you receive the check in instructions well in advance.
Beautiful property very close to Volcanoes National Park. The house was adequate for our needs, for a family of four, and very clean. It got cold at night and the in room heaters were very much appreciated!
This is a good rental. We found the place easily after dark and itâs close to The National Park and Volcano Village in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the yard and relaxed in the living room with smart tv. The only thing missing were some board games and perhaps more kitchen forks, knives and spoons. We always like extra towels but we had the washer and dryer to wash them. Mahalo!
The house is well priced, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to Volcano National Park. The property manager was helpful and responsive to an early check-in when our flight came in. I do think that attention to detail with cleaning needs to be a priority as there were dirty mugs in the cabinets, a "clean" wash cloth hanging in the bathroom that had what I assume was a blood stain on it, and stains on the fabric of the dining room chairs from food and beverage.
We had a great stay. It was very close to the national park. It was fun to watch the birds in the yard. We didn't use the heaters but were thankful they were available. It did get chilly overnight.
We loved staying at Nate's Place. It's a cute little house in a golf course neighborhood and is very close to Volcanoes National Park. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends!
If youâre looking for a luxurious get away, then look somewhere else. However, if you want a cute, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood then this is your place. Located close to the National Park entrance, Nateâs place sits on a spacious, beautiful lot. While there is no central heat, there are space heaters to keep you warm on those chilly nights. There was plenty of room for the four of us to eat a meal and watch TV. This is the ideal home for those longing for a simple, yet comfortable vacation spot.
Great location if you are visiting Volcanoes National Park. The place was comfortable and quiet. We spent most of our time at the park but it was nice to have a home base close by.
Overall our stay was great. Unfortunately the listing said there was a gas fireplace which was one of the main reasons I booked this place. We're suckers for a fireplace. Anyway, I believe they've changed that verbiage now. Heaters throughout so you can get warm on cold nights. Suggestions would be to fully stock the kitchen better, its far from fully stocked. And it needs more lighting, too dark when traveling with elderly parents. The driveway gets muddy fast without any gravel laid down. But wasn't a major issue getting in and out. The best part of this property is the property itself, huge back yard, birds walking around, quiet and peaceful and the neighborhood is upscale by Volcano standards and neighbors are friendly. We would rent again but hoping they can tweak a few things to take it from good, to great! Management is awesome by the way. Highly recommend renting from them.
Canât beat the proximity to Volcanoes National Park! The neighborhood is very remote with very little restaurant options in Volcano Villageâbring groceries with! The property is stunning and it is evident that upgrades have been made recently. There are ants, but traps are placed throughout the home. The are a nuisance, but did not impact our stay. Overall, if youâre looking for a place close to the national park with a bit of a âruralâ vibe, this is it!
