Beautiful little home away from home. The host was great to talk with and communicated everything very well. The house had kids toys, porta cot & high chair making it an easier stay with little ones. One of the rooms had a single bed with a queen bed which is a nice touch for parents like us who have our kids in our room when weâre away from home.
House was well equipped and clean. We couldnât get the fire going so relied on the split systems which were OK. No off street parking as described in listing. Water pressure in shower not great. Within walking distance of the lake which was a nice walk. I highly recommend The Perennial cafe for breakfast, on the way into Wagga Wagga.
Neat and tidy with a lovely fire place. Had to purchase matches and find kindling around the neighbourhood. From the name I was expecting it to be located near the lake but it is a few blocks away with no view. Listed as on site parking but the only parking available is on the road adjacent to the property.
This was a hidden gem. It was a little off our route but well worth the stop over. Beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. Thereâs a secure and spacious back yard for fur babies. The Aircon in both bedrooms and lounge room were amazing and the kitchen is well equiped and super clean.
A fab big enclosed yard for the dog to play in & for the adults to sit outside & look at the gorgeous stars. Easy access to the lake for bbq dinner & well stocked kitchen for the crockery etc we needed.
The cottage was the perfect mid-roadtrip escape to rest up and relax with our two fur children. Had everything we needed and the bavkyard was a great size to throw the ball around. The cottage garden at the front so gorgeous. Would highly recommend a stay if you're in the Wagga Wagga area. Thanks so much Sam, its 5 stars from us
A spacious free standing house in the burbs. The house has had a rather rough DIY upgradeâŠ.
Kitchen spacious. Sufficient equipment and big fridge. The toaster had a problem with a bent support causing jamming No dishwasher but a European style washer dryer âŠ.
Dining room attached to kitchen by dangerous step, which is difficult to negotiate at night on the way to the toilet âŠ.Huge bathroom which is drafty with uneven floor. The shower was terrible. No water pressure and you need to stand right against the wall get wet Hot water sprays from the handle of the cold tap which burns the hands. No sign of the advertised hot tub or spa bath. There is just an old bath. Scratchy towelsâŠ..
Bedrooms are a good size. Mattress very very soft. Really nice sheets Plenty of PowerPointsâŠ.
Nice big lounge with comfortable couches. Ok aircon. Netflix and YouTube available on decent TV which was a nice bonus.
Lots of dust collecting knickknacks and plastic plantsâŠ.
A nice big yard with some weeds and dilapidated outbuildingsâŠ.An 8 minute walk to the lake, which is lovelyâŠ5 minute walk to the excellent Bamey Pub.
The worst thing was the lack of offstreet parking. Despite the house description mentioning parking and even boat or caravan parking we had to park on the street and carry our stuff through the rain. There are gates, but they are blocked up and donât really appear to connect the the street driveway
It was a nice stay for 2 nights, but let down in some areas
Great little cottage style place that has all that is required for a relaxing time. Short stroll to the lake or up the road 5 min walk to a the blamey tavern for a drink or great meal.
This is a wonderful cottage which had a riot of roses blooming when I was there. The yard was perfect for the dog, And the house was perfect for two adults travelling together. There were added touches of some biscuits and snacks available. The bathroom was great for an older persons accessibility. Overall a great stay!
We enjoyed our short stay. The cottage is nicely decorated and well appointed. Very comfy overall. Close to a hotel and small shopping centre and the lake. Quiet and private enough. Nice wood heater for the colder nights.
Cute lovingly looked after little cottage very close to lake Albert
So much to do around Wagga Wagga especially during canola trail time
We took in a day trip to Cactus Country and loved it too
Our dogs had a ball, they particularly enjoyed getting up for the sunrise at lake Albert (recommend the crystal restaurant for drinks at sunset and a nice Chinese meal)
Older place but comfortable for a one night stay. As we were only staying the one night we didn't fire up the wood fire and relied on the lounge and bedroom AC's, unfortunately with the high ceilings we didn't think they were efficient. Renovated kitchen was serviceable but lacked a dishwasher with a washing machine in place under the sink. If you don't provide a dishwasher please at least provide tea towels to dry the dishes! There was a tripping hazard on the floor trim (loose) on the step-down from eating area to kitchen. Big backyard for the dog was a plus but no off street parking was a concern and disappointing. Overpriced compared to others we stayed at this holiday period.
