Great condo

The condo was beautiful! It’s in an older building but everything was great. Large kitchen area for a condo, and this one was nice because it was on the end (so had an extra window with a sea view)! We saw sea turtles from the patio daily and it’s a beautiful spot. Super windy - apparently by the second windiest harbor in the world. Also be sure to look through their deals- we got an amazing deal on a snorkel trip. Overall, would for sure stay again! Thank you!

We loved the place. Nice location/ not crowded/ walked to harbor and town a few times. Easy drive everywhere. Windows were not very clean. I am particular about windows esp. when they have a view. Everything else was perfect.

You Really Can Hear the Ocean

Having a balcony overlooking the ocean was incredible; the view was wonderful. We liked the location, which which made going either north or south easy. Morning walks along the beach to the park or the wharf was great. Everything we needed was supplied, and the beds were very comfortable.

Perfect ocean view condo

Had a wonderful time staying at the condo. The views were breathtaking and the location was great. Was the perfect size for my family of 3. We were very comfortable in the unit. What I enjoyed most was watching the sun rise every morning on the lanai and watching the turtles in the water. Great cross breeze, no AC needed.

Great view and location

This condo provided plenty of space and a great location for our family. The condo is well stocked and updated with new appliances & TV. The view from the lanai was a pleasant surprise as we were close to the shore with close up views of many turtles and whales. We would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Weeks stay

The unit location is wonderful! I was concerned about not having a/c but honestly it’s not needed. There is such a wonderful breeze that comes through the condo-we had some pretty strong winds and had to close the front door a few times. All the mirrors on the walls give it the effect you are on a cruise ship with unobstructed views all around. We ate all our meals in the condo, it is well equipped with everything you would need. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the whales and several turtles. I love the peacefulness of the Maalaea Kai and everyone we encountered on the property was very nice. We did find quite a bit of sand on the throw rugs which hadn’t appear to have been shaken in quite some time. As the sign on the front door states, please remove your flip flops when entering the unit. If your looking for million dollar views and a peaceful stay on Maui, I highly recommend the condo.

"Maui Wowie"

Maalaea Kai is a favorite condo complex of ours. We enjoy sitting on the Lanai and watching over the bay and seeing whales and turtles. The fellow residents all express a friendliness that is pleasant and welcoming. It is and has been our favorite spot on the islands!

The best feature if this property was the view. The write up of instructions was comprehensive although we had to ask some of the locals where to dispose of the garbage. (Recycling directions in that part of the property were abundant) However the accommodation is in need of a bit of maintenance. While the location is relatively centralized as fat as island attractions, one had to drive to beaches, restaurants. And shopping.

What a view!

We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean and turtles. Property was very clean and the kitchen was large and extremely well equipped. Just a couple of items need attention: the window blind in the queen bedroom is broken and the sliding lanai screen door kept coming off track. Over all a great, relaxing place to stay.

Quiet location

This property is not right on the beach but has beautiful ocean views. The unit itself could use some tender loving care and updating. The screen in the bedroom was bent and the sliding screen on the patio needs to be replaced. Pool area was nice and water is comfortable.

Maui Paradise

This property was wonderful to stay in. The location was central to all the places and other towns we went to. We enjoyed being able to walk a block to the beach. The condo was spacious and very clean. Nice appliances in the kitchen., beds were super comfortable. The frosting on the cake was the lanai, which faces the ocean. We saw lots of turtles pop their heads out of the water! Would definitely stay here again.

great location but missing items

The second bedroom should only have a single bed because there were no drawers to be able to unpack at all!!! The closets are loaded up so hardly anything could be hung up. Had to live out of a suitcase for all the time we were there!!!! The Kitchen is missing basic items such as an electric kettle to make tea. The fan remote in the main bedroom was not workable until we fixed it The view is stunning which helped the inconvenience but not being able to unpack and hang up clothes was very inconvenient.

Amazing Ocean Sounds and View

This condo was exactly as described in the posting. We love the sounds of the ocean daily ! We enjoyed the sunrise and all the birds chirping bright and early. The breeze was fantastic so we were never hot. Everything you need in the kitchen. We had access to beach chairs, cooler and beach towels I highly recommend this place. Thankful !

Paradise!

Loved this place. A great location not in center of town, but centrally located to get most places quickly. Insane views from the condo! felt like a home we could relax in. One thing to note (maybe just something I missed): laundry is done with pay machines in the laundry room at the end of the floor. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!
