The house was cozy and warm. It was well-kept, clean, had comfortable beds, excellent appliances, and was well stocked with games. There was a cribbage board, but no stand-alone decks of cards. We were able to get cards from one of the other games though(Sequence). The fireplace really added to the ambience. There's an abundance of wood for it both in the garage and behind it. The drive to Sugarbush was a piece of cake, 20 minutes tops. The home allowed pets, and our 2 dogs had a great time too.
The only issue had nothing to do with the home itself, but the drive in. The road off the main road into the development, Palmer lane, is dirt, as are the the rest of the roads. It had been warm for the past week. The road was deep mud and we were unable to get my wife's minivan up the road despite having snow tires. Fortunately, someone else in our party with AWD was able to come down and ferry us up, and we left the vehicle on the side at the beginning of the road. The next day it got cold again and we were able to drive up no problem as the road had frozen up. Keep an eye on the local conditions, and if it is warm, be prepared to drive through mud.
