One night stay after a day of work.
Roadworks made the access quite impossible - an extra 15 miles as the problem was at Junction. luckily we were 2 in the car to reach the place with Nav sat.
Room was really good with a nice bed and very clean bathroom.
Terrific Breakfast. The only problem is that the staff takes your plate even if you haven't finished yet.
Check in took 25 minutes even though I was second in the queue. The Room was tiny. Was awoken by a Laundry delivery vehicle inches from my window in the morning. Shocking hotel. Was waiting on a on Alan Partridge rocking up. On the plus side, wine in the bar was cheap....though I defo felt it when afore mentioned laundry vehicle made an entrance.
Very nice personnel. That said; room was super cold in the night. Had to put all towels on me. Haridrier was not working and there were stains on the towels. Again, the personnel is very nice but the hotel is really not in good conditions.
Staff are excellent and helpful, but the room was terrible: no internet access, limited tv channels which didn't work as the screen kept splicing on all channels, bedside lamp and light switches didn't work.
Very dated and dirty, I stayed in an executive room and the curtains were not fitted properly, the shower leaked all over the floor and the bathroom was grubby and of a poor standard.
The room just needs a few items looked at .
The reception staff seemed unfriendly.
Saying that the room was extremely cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
After paying for the better room it was disappointing to find a well used room which did feel worth paying extra for. The bed was rock hard and had really rough bottom sheets. The window was all dirty and after opening it I had to wash my hands.
