Great location and beautiful new hotel staff unfri

New hotel that takes dogs so we’re interested. Great location. Service was very average. No automatic doors so we unloaded our car and put suitcases on trolley the we got in vestibule. No employees were around we really struggled with non~automatic doors. Check in was rushed and sort of unfriendly. We were shocked with $41 a night “urban fees”. Asked what included WiFi, use of pool etc we were told. 🙄

Room was clean and in great location. However, desk was tiny if you need to work and closet space/dresser was also less than typical. The closet could not allow you to hang a full length dress only shirts.

It was a beautiful hotel. Some of the wait staff need more experience. They sent my breekfast up without utlensils. There’s no phone in the rooms so I had to go downstairs to get the utensils which defeats the purpose of room service. I asked for a glass of milk and charged me $5 and when they sent it up there was about 2 ounces of milk. That’s expensive milk! So nice hotel. They just need to train their staff a little better.

The best!

Fantastic stay from the second we walked in to check out. Friendly service and super clean sleek. Love the walk in shower and city views! I feel safe with room key badging for elevators. Restaurants on site, but didn’t partake this trip, they were covert busy though. Parking garage 100ft. Away that was $20 for the night. Can’t beat that in any large city! My new favorite hotel when I’m in town. 5 minute walk to Capitol One Arena. Perfect!

Unauthorized room entry

I was checked into room 330 and left my belongings in the room. Came back later in the evening and found my key card inactive. Went to the front desk and the staff informed me that there’s an issue with my room where someone is currently occupying it. The staff informed me that my bags were removed from the room and left in storage. I left an AirPod pro2 in the room that was missing. The front desk did reimburse me for a complimentary one night stay but they are currently investigating my missing AirPods.

Loved everything except the surprise "urban fee." They give you a coupon to help offset, but you can't use it for breakfast or coffee, so it wasn't much of a consolation. And we didn't have time to use the free bike time. But the hotel itself is very nice, as was the staff. And having traveled with friends, it was nice to have the gathering space off the lobby to play some card games and just relax together. The location is wonderful, too.

Like the location, ambience, decent size room. Elevators were super slow, so we ended up just taking the stairs during our stay. The rooftop pool was closed and also super tiny. Room service was nice enough to change our towels despite sending a message that we had do not disturb light on before noon. The front desk staff acted indifference at best. Whenever walking through the lobby, they always were chatting with each other, joking with each other, and even took a group selfie. Never greeted us, no good morning or hello. Occasionally a staff would open the door for some guests. When we checked out and dropped off the key cards, they just ignored us. A “thank you” or “hope you enjoy your stay” would have been nice.

Lovely new hotel, and I loved the design of the rooms and lobby area. The rooftop bar is beautiful, with a fantastic outdoor area and inventive, themed cocktails. LOVED the bike share codes - you get day passes included with your daily resort fee, so be sure to use them. It's a great way to get around the city in nice weather. A few small misses: my coffee pods weren't replaced when the room was serviced, and for some reason the water temperature in my shower never got above tolerably warm. (I was there 4 nights.)
