A gem of a hotel!

I have never stayed at a Citizen M hotel before and I don’t normally write reviews …this hotel was amazing. Checking in is so efficient. Decor is stylish and fun. The rooms are small however all you need is there and the quality of the bedding and pillows is outstanding. It’s about 6 minutes walk to the museums. The food is good and they have a roof top bar which has a wonderful view of the Capital building. Highly recommend.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone at the property. Requested info about AC status given reviews of HVAC being down and wanting to cancel our stay. Now being told via WhatsApp that hotel never received our contact attempts despite email confirmations of them being sent and therefore cant refund our trip even with timestamped emails proving attempts were made.

We stayed for one night at this property. When we arrived only one elevator was working for an extended period of time, so we had to wait in the lobby to get to our room (on the top floor), for about 30 minutes due to backup of other people. While cool looking, the room we received had issues with the air conditioning not working. The room we were transferred to after complaining about the Air conditioning was better, but was leaking water from the unit above creating puddles on the floor. Additionally, the use of technology was cool, but I would like to have the ability to specifically turn on certain lights without all the others or a specific "setting" and that couldn't happen.
