Wenn Sie geschĂ€ftlich oder privat hier sind, gibt es keinen besseren Ort! Die Wohnung befindet sich in der NĂ€he der Monumente, Museen, Einkaufszentren und des Weißen Hauses und hat einen unschlagbaren "Walkscore" von 97. FĂŒr diejenigen, die die U-Bahn-Transit bevorzugen, ist reichlich und auch super zugĂ€nglich.

Unsere schöne und praktische Ferienwohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer ist ideal fĂŒr GeschĂ€ftsreisende, Singles, Paare oder kleine Familien, die im Urlaub in der Hoffnung sind, DC von ihrer Liste zu streichen! Mit allen Annehmlichkeiten mĂŒssen die GĂ€ste nur sich selbst mitbringen und sie werden alles an ihren Fingerspitzen finden. Wir können bequem 4 GĂ€ste im Queen-Size-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer (mit eigenem Bad) und dem super bequemen Schlafsofa im Wohnbereich unterbringen. I stayed at this property for almost two weeks while in DC on business. Nice neighborhood.. Most days I walked to the National Mall where our event was. That said, it's a hike, but the weather was gorgeous and I got my steps in. As far as the unit itself, it is nice. While I suppose technically it can sleep 4 people, you better be ready to be very cozy because you have to go through the bedroom in order to access the only bathroom. Because it is garden level, just FYI, it is not nearly as light and bright as the photos would indicate, but I wasn't there much so I didn't really care. If you are at all unstable on your feet, just realize the stone steps into the unit are uneven/old school stones. While it may sound like I am being negative, I really did enjoy my stay. Just want to make folks aware. The only real suggestions I have for the owner are to supply some kind of food storage container(s). One of the reasons for staying at a VRBO is to eliminate eating out. There wasn't even one Tupperware kind of container, or even plastic wrap. And the final thing was that there were a constant barrage of fleas (Not dog, but little fruit flies) that seemed to emanate out of the bathroom sink. I couldn't keep up with killing them but nor did I want them to come in and spray while I was staying in such a small space. That would also go for the one large 'palmetto bug' that I also found by the front door. Thankfully, it was already dead.

Lovely apartment conveniently located

We were in town to visit our brand-new grandson, so the location was perfect for us to visit easily. Pros: Convenient location on lovely tree-lined street. There were many places to eat within easy walking distance. Very well-equipped and spacious kitchen area. Comfortable bedroom (a little tight but still nice) and very comfy bed. Plenty of towels and bathroom items, including a hair dryer. Reliable wi-fi. Walkable neighborhood. Effective and accurate communication for check-in/check-out. Gracious host.Cons: Steps to the front door are loose in places, and it is a little unsteady going down. Some of the furniture is a little worn and probably could use a good cleaning or even replacement. The floor going into the kitchen is a bit of a trip hazard. You can hear the upstairs neighbor moving around periodically. Overall, we would stay at this location again.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was very convenient to Metro and bus stops. The neighborhood offers an excellent selection of restaurants and grocery stores all within walking distance. Communication with the owner was excellent- quick responses.

The place was well-cleaned and usable. We paid for a late hour until noon, but the cleaner knocked on the door at 10:00 and did not understand a word of English when I tried to explain that we had paid for the extra hours. My wife and I exited withing 20 minutes.

Stayed for a week to see the sights around DC. The apartment was clean, quiet, and close to Trader Joe's, restaurants, and the best coffee we've had on a trip (the Coffee Bar is just a short walk away). Was a very pleasant stay!

The location was great, we used the metro and bus the whole trip with ease. Both were very close by. Self check in is fast and easy. Bed was comfortable. Head to the whole foods to get your basics; there was only instant coffee, not for me! Would recommend.

First time in DC

The apartment was very nicely appointed and clean. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We had a few small issues and Charlotte was quick to respond. Be aware the one bathroom is attached to the bedroom. If you have additional guests using the pull out sofa, they must walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. The apartment is walkable to pretty much everything. However, the walk can be anywhere from 1.5 miles to almost 4 miles (Jefferson Memorial) to your destination NOT including the walk back. You also need to account for all the walking that you do when you get to your destination, including back to the apartment. There were 3 of us and we took an Uber to our destination in the morning ($12-20) spent the day sightseeing, ate dinner, and walked back to the apartment. We walked anywhere from 4-6 miles a day 5 days in a row. Probably not practical with small children or those not capable of walking long distances and being on your feet for most of the day. Trader Joe's is a 0.4 mile walk. If you like ice cream, Jeni's Homemade Ice cream is across the street from Trader Joe's. We parked our car on the street right outside the apartment and never moved it for 6 days!

Wonderful location and stay

We enjoyed the lower level apartment immensely 
 five minute walk (if that) to the metro station 
 both bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the kitchen was very nice 
 close walk to Trader Joe’s for fridge stocking 
 bathroom and shower both clean and nice 
 We did have a slight issue with millipedes (slow crawling insects about an inch or so long) 
 we would see four to five a day making their slow trek across the floors but we left them alone and they left us alone :) 
 we just had to be mindful of where we were stepping at times 
 We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend the place to anyone needing a spot to stay in Washing DC :)
