Great space, many issues
Pros: Location, helpful on-site property management, pool, well-stocked kitchen. Cons: You can't control the HVAC. It's set at 75. It was in the 90's during our stay. We asked that the temp be at 70. When we arrived, the temp was 76 and rising. The AC was broken. In addition, the ceiling was dripping water in multiple spots. This had clearly happened before, as there was tape covering a crack in the ceiling. Maintenance fixed the issue, but the ceiling leaked until the next morning. Crawling over bowls filled with leak water (the leaks were in the doorway of the room our small children used) wasn't ideal. The next day, workers showed up again and we had no advance notice. We had to ask who they were and they just said "The sprinkler guys." We had to leave and it was nerve wracking to leave our things. It was also not ideal to finish getting ready with two unannounced strangers in our space.When we returned, there were holes cut out of the ceiling and the mirror on the bedroom wall was removed. Again, no communication on anything.The overall unit is fine. It's worn (living room rug is held together with painter's tape, there are chips out of bathroom sinks, the furniture has some spots, etc). There isn't much lighting. The living room/dining room only has three small can lights, so we had to move a lamp out from a bedroom.The host sends automated messages but it took frequent follow-up to get actual answers to questions.Overall okay, but room for improvement.
