The location was great, walking distance to the white house and national lawn. Staff was great and accommodating. I would stay again without thinking twice.

The hotel is relatively small and dated, but it is still a great place to stay. I would have no issues returning. It is a few blocks just north of the White House, close to many interesting sites.

Pros: Pretty affordable for downtown DC Beautiful building and rooms Cons: You will hear the elevator ding every single time it does. You will hear everything that happens in the hallway. Our toilet didn't flush, we told the front desk, they said they would fix it or switch our rooms, they did neither (we were only staying for one night) No hand soap. The pillows are very hard. All the other amenities are fine.

Ok for what you pay in DC.

Old hotel with small rooms. Showers were excellent. Pillows were flat as a pancake. Staff was very friendly. Easy to get ride share. Some decent restaurants nearby.

Excellent location; lovely, helpful staff. Very clean room. Decor is a little tired, but bearable for the value. Some inconsiderate guests spoilt our Saturday night by shouting and banging about in the early hours, but not the hotel’s fault. A really nice stay overall.
