The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable from the moment you enter the door to the friendly chatter at the bar, and the peaceful breakfast at the Greenhouse. The hotel is rich with history and it's designs reflect it so much so you almost feel you were transported to colonial America.

Excellent Experience

I was incredibly satisfied with my stay at The Jefferson. Classic charm and styling mixed with luxury. The room itself was incredibly clean, albeit a little small but given the age of the building itself I have zero complaints about it. As someone who usually stays in 3 star hotels for business travel, the cleanliness standard is VERY HIGHLY appreciated. Front of house staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the complimentary snacks and water provided about an hour into my stay were unexpected but made for a vastly more inclusive experience. The ability to order room service, housekeeping and other services from the provided tablet and app were also greatly appreciated. Knowing anything I could need was just a few taps away added to the excellence of my stay. Overall I would 100% recommend this property for anyone coming to the DC area who is looking for a high class experience, in a charming, comfortable and well kept old hotel.
