Property close to all popular attractions, but not walking distance! We used uber to go most places as parking is very hard to find! Property itself was very nice! Only minor issues. Host was very accommodating when there was an issue. Never could get the tv to work in living room, but we were not there to watch tv anyway!
The unit is beautifulâspotlessly clean and exactly as represented in the photos. Itâs situated in a neighborhood that seems to be undergoing transition, with a mix of recently renovated homes alongside others that show signs of wear.During our stay, we did hear what sounded like gunshots on the second night. While we understand that city environments can come with a range of sounds, this did cause some concern for the family I had invited, and they found it difficult to rest comfortably that evening.
The condo was very clean. Lots of nice remodels and extras. The area is up-and-coming and the other tenants in the building we met were very nice. We did not spend a lot of time in the condo as DC and surrounding area has much to do. Uber was our mode of transportation and we found it very convenient and close to everything.
Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the large space and roof top deck with tv.Kitchen was well stocked with coffee and dishes etc.Primary has a large tv.Easy drive to local attractions. Host was very responsive.
The property was exactly as stated. It was a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking. Close to H street for theater restaurants and night life. We will return
A little farther out than we originally thought. Rooftop was nice. We had trouble getting the TV to work, but that is the biggest issue. Two blocks away the neighborhood is rough but we had no issues
May was very helpful, very responsive. She gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants and the place was great for couples. There were a couple of pans that werenât clean, but May let the cleaning people know. The amenities showed a jacuzzi, but that was incorrect. May said she was planning to get that corrected. The kitchen and living area were beautiful. The bathrooms were very nice. The master was very nice.
To start I would like to thank the host for a 1 hr early complimentary check in. Ok to start once we arrived we were going to park in the allotted parking space in the back- well no other review that I read mentioned the condo next door or the neighborhood behind the condo was very scary looking( next door look like a slum shack and behind was goverment housing). We were very unhappy about this...so because we had a rental SUV and wanted it to stay safe we decided to park in front of the condo...the front looks amazing besides the Christmas lights were still up but this may have belonged to other units owners. No elevators so be mindful of how heavy your luggage is ( also downstairs foyer is a very tight space). Inside the unit it was FABULOUS!!!! We were all over 50 ( 4 of us all women) and loved the decor. We didn't have any washclothes in bathroom downstairs nor a bathmat ( to step on when getting out of shower). We checked the dryer and there were towels and things in there but they were damp so we left them as is( We did not report this to hostess). We were looking for the pull out bed or futon but after communicating with hostess no sleeper sofa and the so call futons were a joke so one of the ladies used the blowup mattress and to our discovery NO linen was in the condo for our 4th person( communitcated with host and she stated we had to request it as it showed in the listing) heck I thought if 4 people and 3 bedrooms we wouldn't have to request it. Our review
A great place to stay in DC. Quiet neighborhood and close to bus stops. The view from the rooftop is fabulous. We got immediate assistance when we needed additional household items from the manager. We would rent this place again.
The house was perfect space for our family with a great big playground next door. Clean and up to date; comfy beds. We had a bit of trouble with the gas stove not staying on but managed otherwise. It was also a hike for our kiddos to get to the streetcar and unfortunately the red line metro was under construction during our visit. This meant lots of Ubering. Neighboorhood was mostly quiet during our time there. Itâs definitely an up and coming area. Host was super responsive to all our questions.
This place has super cute decor, and is very clean. The beds were very comfortable which is extremely important to us. The bathrooms and kitchen were really nice.
The couch is super hard & uncomfortable, but cute. The upstairs deck is not that great.
We did have problems with the hot water going out. And the stove would not work. But the owner was VERY responsive and sent people out to fix quickly. Hopefully all is resolved before the next guests come.
Six of us stayed for 3 nights ages 37-68 yrs old. The younger ones loved the rooftop patio-would have been nice to have a heater for chilly evenings. The 3 bedrooms with 3 baths was awesome! The updated kitchen was wonderful to cook breakfasts. We were there for family visit & touring the DC area sites.
This is a transitional neighborhood with a lot of construction remodeling older homes. Not close to the Metro public transportation. We were happy to have a rental car with on street free parking. Aldi Grocery close by was a plus.
The inside of the updated unit was very nice. However, the surrounding neighborhood was a little scary as there were several men smoking dope across the street and several dirty, discarded mattresses there also. I did not realize there was no table available for playing games or cardsâŠonly a kitchen bar. The rooftop area was not comfortable and only offered a âpeek-a-viewâ of the capital and monument. Also, be prepared for lots of stairs. I rated communication fairly low since there are zero instructions on how to use the tv, various appliances, etc. All of the VRBOâs Iâve stayed in provided binders with household tips, hints for local attractions, and more. This one had nothing. Despite these little setbacks, we had a lot of fun visiting the area.
The property was very well maintained, and all the advertised amenities were available. The rooftop area was especially nice and really a great feature with a wonderful view. There were three full bedrooms and three full baths which made it very comfortable for our group to get dressed comfortably. We were there for my daughter's wedding so there was a lot of traveling back and forth to the venue at the Navy Yards and the location was convenient.
The only two less than positive comments I have are that the oven was very temperamental and, ultimately, we could not get it to work.
Also the location of the unit was in an area undergoing "revitalization" so there was a mix of population and the areas nearby the location seemed less than safe. The local grocery store and other retail areas were not well stocked, and it did not feel safe to walk after dark. Of course, this is not the fault of the property and in a couple of years I am sure the neighborhood will be different, but, for now, I believe it is something that should be made aware.
This is a very nice unit! It was up to date and very clean. It didn't cost much to get from a Lyft from this address to the museums and the National Mall. Although it states there is room for 10, we were only able to make it work for 6. The property manager was easy to communicate with when I texted him. I really appreciated this.
This is a beautifully decorated upgraded house in a revitalized/revitalizing neighborhood across the street from a great playground. The interior is both beautiful and functional with all the amenities needed for a self-sufficient holiday, including salt and pepper and coffee pods. Our teenagers loved the rooftop and spent time up there reading and enjoying the city view. The house is within a 20-minute drive (allowing for traffic) to the Mall, making it an ideal location for the vacationer who wishes to spend time learning the country's history.
Excellent 3br apartment for a DC visit. Clean, quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy taxi or Uber ride to all sightseeing destinations. Very good and prompt communications with property manager. Will book again whenever returning to DC.
The property was a typical row house for DC. The 2nd floor balcony and third floor patio really made the property enjoyable. It is across the street from a very nice children's park. Inside the house, we did not hear too much of the DC noise.
