La cabine est situé dans 120 acres privé qui sera le vôtre à errer pendant que vous visitez. Avec 1500 pieds de la rive du lac natif, vous pourriez ne pas rencontrer une autre personne la durée de votre séjour! Nous avons passé la dernière année à transformer l'une des premières cabines sur le lac dans notre propre escamotable personnelle. Situé à seulement 30 pieds du lac, vous vous sentirez comme votre sommeil sur l'eau! Nouvellement aménagé pour restaurer la zone autour de la cabine à l'habitat du rivage natal. Equipé avec TV grand écran, le câble et Internet haute vitesse. Cette propriété est pas pour tout le monde, mais si votre idée de vacances comprend les mots glamping, isolée, get-loin-de-it-all, calme et privé, que cela puisse être pour vous!

La cabine dispose d'une mezzanine avec deux lits xl jumeaux qui peuvent être rapprochés pour un roi. En bas il ya un canapé en coupe de bonne taille avec un pouf qui se transforme en un lit bébé. Il ya une petite kitchenette bas qui comprend un micro-ondes et d'un réfrigérateur. Les salles de bains sont primitive (ie il ya une dépendance). Après une longue journée sur les pistes ou dans le lac, se détendre dans le sauna au feu de bois. Nous avons mis en place une plate-forme unique avec un bain à remous et douche solaire disponible dans les mois d'été. Motoneige in / out dans les mois d'hiver.

S'il vous plaît noter que la cabine elle-même est à environ 1/4 mile de la route principale. Il ya une pente raide à conduire les 500 derniers pieds jusqu'à la cabine. Ceux avec roues arrière motrices devraient envisager de stationnement au sommet de la colline et de la marche à la rive. La cabine est primitif, et vous aurez besoin d'apporter votre propre eau potable. Il y a un charbon et barbecue à gaz sur place. Sauf arrangement contraire, vous devrez apporter votre propre literie et d'emballer vos déchets. En faisant cela, je vais renoncer à tous les frais de nettoyage ..
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme un bain à remous. Cette cabane comprend des équipements et services comme une télévision et un réfrigérateur.

Loved it!!

our cabin stay was wonderful!! We sold our cabin last fall -so this was a great stay to be back in the woods. We saw lots of wildlife and the relaxation was great. We brought our blowup camping mattress ( as we didn't want to navigate the steps upstairs) I didnt mind the out house- but I did bring a camping potty for latet nights. The dogs loved to be able to swim up and down the shoreline. The hot tube was a relaxing addition to our stay. We will definitely come again-or if we bring more family - we might rent the other cabin you have. Thank you !!!

Phenomenal

This was our second stay at this amazing cabin and spectacular property! If you truly are an outdoor enthusiast whatever the weather and love exploring the woods and the amazing trails whether it’s walking or sledding THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! The cabin was perfect to warm up and relax in and the bonuses of a sauna and hot tub were superb.. The best was laying on the frozen lake and looking up at stars . Such a surreal feeling! The owner Sara is amazing and so friendly so happy we got to meet her and thank her for sharing her cabin with us!! We are definitely looking forward to visiting many many more times!! Thank you again Sara for another amazing memory filled trip !!

This place is not for everyone.

I loved it personally. And I will most likely be back! I reached out to Sara, and got zero response back. Wow! Really?? and it was just a question. There are some super simple and cheap stuff that could make this rental so much more user friendly. A coat rack to hang coats. ($10 bucks at the Fleet) Perhaps a drop down counter space on the east side of the cabin to the right of the kitchen nook for extra surface area. $100.?? Why not put a few screws to the current sink and countertop so it doesn't slide around. This rental is not for anybody that has mobility issues. AWD/4x4 will be a positive. My Boy Scout mentality is to leave any place that I reside better then I first came across it apples to this location. Michael

Tiny cabin getaway in the woods

It's was a great little property, the weather wasn't great but I'm looking forward coming again in the summer! The loft has a pull down ladder and we decided we didn't want to climb up and down the ladder at night so we pulled the mattresses down which was fine since it was just the 2 of us! The hotub was AMAZING! You truly felt like your in the middle of the woods! I would recommend if you have anything other than a 4 wheel vehicle to park up on the last hill before the cabin, we drove our van down and almost didn't make it back up the hill! Overall it was a great... Remote.... Experience!!

Nice getaway for a long weekend

The cabin is located a few yards away from the lake; it is small but cozy. The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed being outdoors all day walking with our dogs and relaxing in the sauna and hot tub. There is a place close by where you can buy firewood. Our Subaru didn’t have any problems getting close to the cabin.

Very nice, and peaceful

It is a very nice, and peaceful location. Had to clean the cabin before we unpacked. Called the owner to let her know the last group had left their trash, didn't clean up, and left the front door open. She told me she didn't have time to clean it up after they left, and said very rudely she was so sorry it wasn't pristine. I guess we weren't looking for pristine, but cleaned up would have been good. Everything else about the place and the property was awesome! I would highly recommend staying, and do make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get out. The driveway is really steep, and soft sand.

The perfect secluded getaway

The property was very peaceful for a quiet getaway from everything. Overall it was exactly as advertised and as long as you know what you’re getting into and pay attention to what the description says there shouldn’t be any issues. I brought a 16’ fishing boat with me and parked it in one of the grassy areas at the top of the hill each night….it is a bit of a challenge but again I knew it could be based on the description. For reference as well I needed four wheel drive to get my full size pickup up the hill from the cabin with how soft the sand is. The cabin itself was very cozy, and the hot tub was nice for relaxing in the evenings.

Awesome Getaway!!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! And the view was Amazing!! So relaxing. We want to go again. We didn't want to leave. The hot tub was amazing. My Husband loved fishing off the dock.

Just what we wanted

This rental is definitely not for everyone but if solitude and peace is what you are looking for to just unwind and appreciate the little things in life it is perfect. The cabin was smaller than expected but perfect for what my wife and I were wanting to enjoy our 20th anniversary. We slightly overpacked not sure of what or how many cooking utensils was there. Note that the coffee maker uses the triangle filters and not the round ones, thankfully there was some filters there. We enjoyed the place very much. It was 100+ when we arrived and ended up sliding a mattress down from the loft to sleep on main floor. The sleeping loft was alot smaller than I thought it would be but it was still comfy and cozy on the last night when the temp was more normal. Overall we would definitely go back again. We had checked out Jolly Fisherman Resort bc we had forgot to pack life jackets and the ppl there were very friendly and let us borrow jackets from them

GLAMPING at its finest

We needed a little getaway and this was the perfect place for it! I actually loved that it doesn’t have indoor plumbing or running water. It felt like camping in the middle of winter. But camping at its finest! The hot tub and sauna were amazing! The property is beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Make sure to bring your own sheetsThe owners were very helpful.

Winter getaway

My fiancé and I spent a long weekend at the cabin with our dog. The cabin was as advertised in the listing. One thing I wish I would’ve known is the cabin doesn’t get as warm as I would have expected. It does have heat however the cabin still had a chill to it the whole time we were there. The cabin is right off of the lake and the snowmobile trail goes right by the cabin. This cabin is secluded and has plenty of land to it - however the cabin is more exposed than we were expecting. The sauna and hot tub were great! Hot tub was cleaner than I was expecting considering I wasn’t sure the last time someone had been there or how well it was maintained. I would recommend bringing your own wood for the sauna as there wasn’t really wood there for it. If you are a snowmobiler and considering renting this property, I would highly recommend! Right off of the state trail, and the ability to relax and warm up in the hot tub and sauna afterwards was great! Overall it was a great experience and the land is beautiful!

Winter wounderland

A friend of mine and I stayed at the end of February. There was alot of snow, so not being able to drive up to the cabin, even with 4 wheel drive, make it very difficult to pack out. Besides difficulties packing in and out it was a amazing trip. We spend the day fishing, catching some nice sized pike and the night relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin is cozy and the perfect size for 2 people. We are "outdoor" enthusiasts so we really enjoyed the primitive aspect and quite nature.

Truly Surprised by Positive Reviews

When my husband and I read the reviews on the cabin property, we were very surprised at the high rating which we didn't encounter the same experience during our stay. We figured this cabin is ideal for spring/summer season. We were in awe how low maintenance the cabin was upon our arrival. Here's the list that we didn't expect them coming and quite disappointed with our large expense on this cabin for our honeymoon: -hundreds and hundreds of flies and ladybugs continuously flying around during our whole week of stay -a lot of dead flies and ladybugs laying on both XL-Twin beds and we couldn't sleep there -there were no pictures of the upstairs bedroom on the VrBo website and when we arrived, it was too claustrophobic to see how low the attic roof above us while dealing with flies flying around -the indoor temperature wasn't warm enough during the month of Dec stay -the outhouse bathroom's smell was too much to handle...I am not sure when the last time the host hired someone to clean it up -per the description how primitive the cabin was and advised us to bring our own drinking water. We thought it meant to bring our filtered water that we are able to drink and use the provided water at the cabin with the sink faucet running water (with your picture shown on your VrBo website) for washing dishes purpose -microwave, refrigerator, countertops were extremely stink, so we had to clean deeply before putting our foods there -when I asked the host for a reference to tow our vehicle, we appreciated her assistance but we ended up having this terrible towing service that didn't want to get their regular pick up truck (NOT towing truck) stuck in the snow. Those 3 people who helped us were smoking and didn't even bring their own towing equipment which forced us to use the property's supplies such as shovels and buckets to get our vehicle out on our end of day stay. It was a disaster for us. We had to pay extra for their service. We read a few negative reviews through this page during their winter stays and we encountered similar situations. We have advised the host to please elaborate in the cabin's description and high maintenance on the cabin's property, especially during winter seasons.

Great weekend getaway

We loved having a weekend in the woods, away from everything at this cute cottage. It was so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The hot tub was awesome, perfect for the cool rainy weather. The sleeping loft was kind of challenging to get up and down, you need to be sure-footed, but we managed fine. Everything else was amazing and we'd love to come back in the future!
