We had lovely stay at this spacious and comfortable cabin. We were a party of 6 adults, in the area visiting our 95 year old uncle who has recently gone to live at the VA Facility. We were so busy with seeing him and celebrating his birthday that we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy all the amenities of the property. We would happily stay here again.

Disappointing

Contrary to the listing, there was zero garage parking because all 3 bays were blocked with furniture and outdoor equipment. So we had to park outside in subzero weather. The cleaners left thick dust in the MBR, coffee in the coffee pot, and food crusted on the frying pans and spatulas. When we alerted them to the problems, they didn’t send a crew to make it right. Just apologized that it hadn’t met OUR standards. Like, did it really meet YOUR standards?On the positive side, the kitchen was well equipped and fun to cook in once we scrubbed it. And the adjoining woods and pond and nearby Crystal River made for gorgeous winter walks.

Quality Family Time

The cabin is just beautiful! It was everything as described. A comfortable, quiet cabin nestled in the woods and the accommodations were excellent. We had seven adults, a two-month old and a yellow lab. I highly recommend for a lovely getaway!!

I give this amazing home a 10!!!

I give this home and the entire rental process/stay a “10” because: 1. The home itself is immaculate, private, gorgeous, has the best homey energy I’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental, and had everything we could have asked for (and then some đŸ€—!); and 2. the rental management team made the entire process incredibly easy and streamlined. They were very responsive to all the emailed questions I sent them. And they were exceedingly kind! I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful and wonderful this home is. You cannot go wrong choosing this property for your vacation.

Waupaca ‘Memory Lane’ Visit

3 sisters and husbands returned to Waupaca to honor our parents that recently passed away. We wanted a home base where we could rest, relax and rejuvenate after our days full of visits to our parents favorite spots and restaurants. This home was perfect in every way. With 3 levels - each couple had their own living room, bedroom and bathroom. The home is lovely and comfortable. The property is beautifully landscaped and there is even a little lake to look upon by the firepit and swing. Location was perfect for all of our activities. New memories were made that will last a lifetime at the Richmond home!

Beautiful Wooded Setting

Enjoyed our stay here with family! Plenty of space for 6 of us! Had fun playing the electronic dart game provided in basement. Nice basement family room and game room! Basement didn't heat well in the bedroom. Everything was very clean in the home, except the dining chairs. They could use fabric replacement or fabric cleaned, very filthy! Plenty of kitchen utensils/items for use. Overall definitly would stay here again! Thank you for the use of your beautiful home!

Winter Getaway

The house is spacious, clean and had everything we wanted for a few days away as a family. We skied Nordic Mountain and hiked the state park, but spent most of the time eating, playing games and listening to music in front of the fireplace. Check-in and communication were a breeze. Waupaca offers more summertime activities, but this was a very nice holiday getaway.

Waupaca cabin

We have been going to the chain of lakes for close to 40 years- since our kids were toddlers and their grandparents had a home there. We have loved that area ever since. Because our standby cabin home was sold we decided to try the Richmond Waupaca cabin (property 373836) for our birthday celebrations. It was a bit remote and off the chain but it turned out to be a perfect beautifully wooded setting for that long weekend including a small aerated pond The home is clearly well cared for, large enough for our group and well supplied. We heard no major complaints- a wellcome surprise for us. . If available we would like to plan a return for next November. Note to owner (not for public viewing): Some attention needs to be made for those visitors that are not with pets. We have allergies in our family and had problems during our stay. We were aware that the home was pet friendly but were disappointed in the level of cleaning of pet hair that was evidenced- during our stay at least. Our suggestion is to have air purifiers at each level. That would mitigate the problem. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home Edward and Elizabeth Gurza Lake Forest, IL

Exactly what we needed

The cabin fit our family of four and my brother in laws family of four along with our pet dog perfectly. The layout works wonderfully to allow for time together and time just enjoying the peace and quite. Whether it was fishing at the pond, s’mores around the fire pit, or coffee on the deck - the property was wonderful. The cabin held all the amenities we needed and is a short drive to town for any extras. Wonderful hiking trails for for families and the Hartman Lake beach were just down the road. We will be back again soon!
