My husband and I came for a visit from New Braunfels and found this cozy, homestead feeling little place. We were able to bring our two pups with plenty of room to enjoy outdoor play. The house is updated beautifully and , wow, that gorgeous clawfoot tub! We thoroughly enjoy everything about our stay here and look forward to booking it again!

The host was amazing getting back to us. The house was so cozy and so functional for our needs. It was everything and more how it was listed. The balcony off the Master was awesome. It was private quiet and peaceful and we really needed that! We will stay here again if we are visiting Weatherford.

Great escape!

Wonderful retreat. We had everything we needed. Bed is not as comfy as we’d hoped, and there is a weird noise in the primary. Stairs are steep! Owners are very communicative and helpful!

The house was very well kept and very clean. Since it was out of town about 15 minutes, it was very quiet. We would stay there again.The host was very friendly and communicated with me about details of check in and expectations for check out.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I wanted to get away with very few distractions. The property located off the beaten path was perfect. Extremely cute and I spent a lot of time in the soaker tub. Highly recommend a stay here. I was 20 minutes from downtown shopping in Weatherford. A good number of shops to choose from. The owners were very qick to respond to messages

Cute barndominium, but not very dog friendly

It was clean and the hosts were kind enough to leave s’mores makings. The table varnish feels sticky so I would suggest placemats to add to the ambience so it doesn’t feel like you are sticking to the table. The barndo was cute, but there were a lot of millipedes getting in. We have pets so the thistles/burrs are not very friendly to their paws or skin. We had to be careful where we walked them. The claw foot tub is a very high claw foot tub so difficult to get in and out of. Slipped on the stairs so be careful. Piles of construction debris and large pile of dead trees detracts from the overall ambience. However, I would say it is a nice place to stay and the owners have games to play and a cute setup.

Adorable house for a weekend getaway

Everything was perfect here and we never needed a single thing that was not already stocked in the house. The home was decorated so nicely and very clean. It accommodated my husband and I, my 4 year old and my mom with plenty of room to spare. The owners of the property communicated well before, during and after the stay and provided a binder of all of the local restaurants and activities available in the area. I would book this property again any time we were looking for a place in the area!

Our quiet weekend

Our stay here was top notch. The home was beautiful and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. Very clean and beautifully decorated! We stayed the weekend for a wedding and I am so glad I found this property for my family to stay in. We had our 2 dogs with us and the spacious property was great. We got to see the longhorns on the adjoining property and there were even deer just outside the fence when we got back from the reception. It was perfect.

This was a great house. The communication to the host could not of been better. She went out of her way to help us in any way possible. I asked if we could check in early and she made it possible for us to check in early. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Adorable Countryside

The wife and I stayed here for a friends wedding in Weatherford. The property was very clean and its off the beaten path, but we loved it and would DEFINITELY stay here again! The house was well updated and maintained and did not disappoint! The views were gorgeous and we even got to see a couple of longhorns in the neighboring pasture. Highly recommend! Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a conflict in our schedules so we didn't stay the entire time, but the owners were very understanding and even refunded us one nights stay!! So very nice of them and VERY appreciated by us!

Christmas with Family

The place is very nice and we were comfortable. The beds weren’t great but the bedding was nice; the bathroom linens were plentiful and of good quality. The kitchen had enough utensils and cookware to survive but was limited. A pizza cutter would be an awesome addition. The welcome notebook with all the surrounding information/activities was appreciated and the Christmas tree setup was a super nice touch. The road to the house and the neighborhood are pretty rough and did make us a little nervous about what we would find but we were glad when we pulled into the gate. The signs to the place are very well thought out and helpful.

Weekend Get Away

We came down from Kansas to spend the weekend with friends. The house was decorated beautifully and furniture was comfy! The pool was fabulous for the 106 degree day we had! Host was very responsive and had quick answers for everything I needed. 5 stars!
