Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider alles andere als angenehm. Die Lüftung war offenbar nur Deko – sie funktionierte überhaupt nicht, was den Aufenthalt besonders im Bad sehr unangenehm machte. Die Heizung hat auch nicht funktioniert. Außerdem gab es weder einen Kühlschrank noch eine Minibar im Zimmer, noch nicht einmal ein Wasserkocher was in dieser Preisklasse eigentlich selbstverständlich sein sollte. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls ein Problem: Die Dusche war verstopft, und das Wasser lief komplett ins Schlafzimmer hinaus. Das Schloss an der Badezimmertür war kaputt, was ebenfalls nicht gerade zum Wohlbefinden beitrug. Besonders irritierend war, dass ein einzelner Handwerker scheinbar für alles zuständig war – von Reparaturen über die Reinigung bis hin zu anderen Aufgaben. Das wirkte sehr unprofessionell und vermittelte keinen seriösen Eindruck. Insgesamt ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis. Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt in Wedel direkt an der Elbe. Zu Fuß braucht man von der S-Bahnstation ca. 20 Minuten oder mit dem Bus schneller. Dafür ist man direkt an der Elbe und hat dort einen guten Ausblick und kann viel Erleben (Spazieren gehen, Gastronomie, …). Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, das Bett komfortabel. Die Vorhänge dunkeln gut ab. Das Badezimmer ist zweckmäßig mit Dusche, Waschtisch und WC ausgestattet (der Lüfter ist etwas laut). Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit: Babybett ohne Aufpreis, frisch bezogen, mit Bettdecke und Kissen, direkt ins Zimmer gestellt (und ein modernes, kein altes/muffiges/klappriges). Parkplätze gibts direkt beim Hotel, sowohl außen als auch als Tiefgarage. Der Parkplatz war gut ausgelastet, aber wir hatten mehrmals kein Problem einen Stellplatz zu finden. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Das Personal ist freundlich, der Ausblick war gut und das Zimmer war sauber. Das war es aber auch schon mit den positiven Punkten. Das Hotel ist noch sehr neu und stuft sich als gehoben ein und da stimmt einiges nicht. Wie man heute noch ein neues Hotel ohne Klimaanlage bauen kann, ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Gerade die Zimmer Richtung Süden werden bei Sonne extrem warm und es ist kaum möglich dort zu schlafen. Fenster kann man auch nicht offen lassen, da dann die Lärmbelästigung viel zu hoch ist. Werde das Hotel deshalb nicht wieder buchen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer wirkt eher billig und es fehlen Dinge. Mülleimer im Zimmer, Kühlschrank und es gibt nicht mal einen Toilettenpapierhalter neben dem Klo. Im Bad gibt es kaum Ablagen. Die Vorhänge sind viel zu dünn und es wird im Zimmer sehr früh sehr hell. Insgesamt hat man den Eindruck, dass an allen Ecken und Enden die billigste Lösung genommen wurde und das passt halt nicht zu den aufgerufenen Preisen. Deshalb keine Empfehlung.
