well equipped house

After trouble getting key (PRINT instructions!), we had a good stay. Deck was too shady and buggy but indoors was fine. Kitchen is superbly outfitted for cooking.

Great cottage, with beautiful walks to marsh and beach

Very tidy 2 BR cottage with 10 minute walk to bay beach and right on a marsh. Great for bird watchers and beach walkers - at low tide you can walk all the way around Indian Neck to Wellfleet harbor and loop back to the cottage.

Special spot

Cozy cottage with a cool vibe stocked with all the comforts of home especially the well stocked kitchen. Cooking here was a delight! Includes a view of the marsh off the deck (which is a great place to hang) and a super short walk to a gorgeous small gem of a beach (Omaha Road Beach). There are loads of trails, beaches and places to explore nearby and the hosts info about all made it so much easier to find. The hosts are also extremely responsive and quick to help out with any questions. We will be back!

Perfect getaway

Terrific

This is a beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed cottage that's just the right size for 3–4 people. The owners are friendly and very quick to respond to questions. The location is great. The air conditioning is spectacularly effective, which we particularly appreciated as it was oppressively humid the week we were there. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Lovely Cottage, Walk to Beach!

This cottage is a swimmer's heaven. Walk to several beaches on the calm and warmer bay side. Quick drive to Van Rensselaer’s Restaurant, the movies. Cross Route Six and quick drive to town. Updated and clean. The road and driveway are privately owned and a bit rough, but short.

Gem of a rental

Our first day of vacation was during the hurricane. Heather was very accommodating so that we could make some changes. She also responds very quickly to all emails! Her rental was very clean and so comfortable. She has thought of everything. Indian Neck is a special place. The bay is a short walk. The ocean is a short drive. There are fantastic places to eat. We didn’t want to leave! We were two couples. You couldn’t fit more people in this space but it was fine for the 4 of us. I would definitely rent this place again. Thank you Heather for everything!

Lovely house! Great location!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is beautiful and comfortable, though small. The deck does a very nice job of extending the living space and we used it for most of our meals, morning coffee, reading, sitting and watching the birds on the bird feeders .... Staying here definitely added to our enjoyment of the cape!

Decent cottage but needs property management

Pros: Cottage is a decent little place. Photos are accurate. Probably a little nicer than the photos indicate. Neighborhood is nice, near Indian Neck beach. Very quiet area. Cons: Property was filthy when we arrived, hadn't been cleaned after the prior guests left. Floors were covered in sand and pine needles throughout the whole cottage. There was nasty, rotten food in the kitchen sink. There was a pile of soaking wet, dirty towels in the bathtub. The tub itself was dirty. Very poor first impression. The property is on a small dirt road that has many deep puddles. Probably not appropriate if you're driving a sedan. The outdoor gas grill on the deck is broken, so don't plan on grilling any food. The grill doesn't get over 300 degrees so it's more of a slow cooker than a grill. Overall: I contacted the owner about the filthy conditions of the property. They were apologetic and offered to make things right which I appreciated. They appear to be absentee owners without a local property management person to ensure the property is in good condition. Would I stay here again? I'd look at other options first and recommend you do the same.

Great week in Wellfleet!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage located with a view of a salt marsh in Wellfleet. The cottage was clean and furnished just as described. It was cozy and just perfect for our needs. We loved that it was close to many of the activities that we enjoy doing in Wellfleet, visiting the Audubon Center, spending some time at Marconi Beach, and driving out to Provencetown. We also visited some new beaches. There are so many things close by. The owners were very easy to reach for questions and were very helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

Great location by a marsh

First time in Cape Cod - this was a great location - 10 - 15 mins from most of what we did during our 4 night stay. The cottage was clean, bright, modern and had comfortable beds. Easy towel & sheet pick up from The Furies - about a mile away. A nice, quiet area to walk around.
