The hotel was for a conference, the venue was clean and convenient. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room i had was dated but exceptionally clean. The view from my window was of the back of the hotel, which was a run down street area. Easy walk to the harbour . Amenities outside the Hotel were a 10 min walk. The hitel has amasing sea views if you are lucky to get the room with the views.

We always stay at the Copthorne for its super handy location, close to shops, restaurants and the centre of town and we love the close up views of the harbour from the King Harbour View room we always choose. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would like a plunger in the room rather than instant coffee for the price you pay though.

Location is very good and the view over the harbour was lovely. We liked that the bathroom separated to two beds so felt more like an apartment. Not enough seating for a potential of 4 guests and the shower flooded onto the bathroom floor. Also the bathroom ceiling needs a paint. Appreciated having restaurant and bar onsite although menu was limited with an Asian influence. Communication at reception could improve as we requested at check in that we pay half each for our stay but, was all charged to the card given on arrival. Overall we highly recommend

I stayed in a room with two double beds. One of the beds had a very comfortable mattress, but the other one—especially the left side—was not as good and could use some improvement. Also, the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, which caused the room to get pretty foggy during showers. Aside from those issues, everything else was okay. The staff were very helpful—thank you!
