This hotel is in need of an update. The rugs in the halls have duck tape holding them together. It has a 80s vibe about.

This place is getting run down! Seating in the dinning room had horribly torn up seat back on the banquette near the emergency exit door, front desk could use refinishing for scuff marks, exterior railings near the pool in need of new paint. When I needed a luggage cart on arriving the desk was very curt just telling me 'Oh, they are all in use.' In my room #201 there was a desk with an office style chair and NO other chair. TV had 'no signal' for the first evening 2/29/25. Bed side lamp did not work (that was fixed the following day)

The Red Lion has been where I’ve always stayed in Wenatchee for years, but I was disappointed at its condition this time. I appreciate that it’s dog friendly…that’s huge for us…but dogs are only allowed in the rooms and hallways. There’s nowhere to eat with your dog, and they are not allowed in the pool area. That was disappointing. The price is another consideration that appeals to me…it’s very reasonable, and a full breakfast comes with the price of the room! What perplexes me is the amount of money spent on upgrading the entrance but nothing else appears to have been touched. The hallways have tears in the carpet which have been covered with tape, and our room hadn’t been upgraded in what seemed like decades: cigarette burns in the carpet, paint on the wallpaper, and olive colored bathroom tiles from the 1970’s. There were so many spider webs on our patio, I had to take a towel to knock them down. All in all, pretty disturbing even with the understanding that dog friendly rooms probably get last priority. I’ll like find another place to stay next time I’m in town, but my fingers are crossed that the Red Lion can find an infusion of capital to up its game.

Had a great staycation at the Red Lion. The overall cleanliness of the room could have been better and the general condition of the inside of the hotel is pretty outdated but the staff is really friendly and our overall experience was good. It was great to have an outdoor pool/spa and the breakfast was always well stacked.

I liked when I had a problem they fixed it and if I had a problem with my room, they moved me to a different room. They were intentive and they seem to care. I will definitely stay there again.
