The property owner did a great job with communicating. That was the primary strength. Outside of that, this was a disappointment. While the owner did warn us, entering the driveway was dodgy. Vehicles coming around a mostly blind corner is a safety issue (one that the homeowner cannot control, but still worth mention). The unit is small as expected. We did not use the kitchen other than the microwave and for a cup of coffee. The unit is generally crowded and very tired. The ceiling is low, but not much you can do about that. There is very little apparent effort to lift this unit out of its age. The bathroom feels unclean. The towels need to be replaced. Cheap fix. They look old and worn out. Mine had a sour smell (like when you wash and leave it in the washer for days) covered by perfumed detergent. Paint was chipped all over the bathroom. There is moldy black debris along the shower door frame where it meets the glass. The shower walls near the bottom may be clean, but just a sign of the age. The bed linens were just a mix match, but worked. The perfumed smell was not for me, but may not be an issue for others. I was awakened by what I believe was the furnace coming on. It was loud. This unit is not for us. We stayed in a hotel the following night in Newport for almost half the cost.
